Is he leaving? Seems emotional but not in a good way

Surely if he's in tears because he's leaving then i would argue it's because a deal is already done. Thoughts of PSG...

But any agreed deal would have to be at and agreed price and would get his albatross wages off our books.

Much as I'd love to keep an in form Rashford getting good money for an elder player who hasn't been in form for a year. Get in.

Thought the same about him crying. Didn’t look like they were tears of joy and was stood on his own just looking at the fans for a bit too.

Really good performance, was obviously a massive part of our plan to stretch City's defence.

Worked harder than normal. If he’d done that throughout the season and wasn’t hitting the goals I’d have gone a lot easier on him but he didn’t. He was showing the world he’s deeply unhappy at something or another but we can’t carry players on superstar wages when we are in 8th place

Would be best for all parties for him to move on, PSG need a Mbappe replacement . Rasmus, Garnacho and Amad are the future.

He's probably done with it all as he's had a tough year. Y'all can't be rinsing him for today though take a day off ffs

Lost nearly every foot race, that long pass was absolutely class though.

I wouldn’t read much into his reaction. There’s no chance any decision will have been made on his future. He’s just a fairly introverted and emotional guy and it’s been a very tough season for him. He needs to kick on from this now though and return to his best next season.

The long pass was brilliant, but Rashford struggled to make an impact in any aspect of play. Not poor, but just a passenger apart from the long ball to Garnacho.

He had Walker in serious trouble with his running in behind but i don't think i've ever seen another player as good as Walker in terms of recovery. He's just ridiculous at getting out of trouble.

He struggled today up against a Kyle Walker that can outpace him to every ball.

Great cross field pass in the build up to the goal.

Just overwhelmed with emotion. That pass was sublime.

Hope he gets fit, finds his form and starts banging them again next season.

I’m no body language expert but the way he looks after final whistle and the way other players are interacting with him suggests he’s leaving. Same with ETH.

His pass out to Garnacho before our 2nd goal was pure quality. Perfect amount of pace on it.

He definitely looked like he wanted to cry after the game ended. I thought we would have heard more if he was leaving.

I think he may be off, those tears spoke very loudly. Could just be relief after this season but it looked like real sadness rather than that.

Yeah, standards are dropped here big time when his performance is called him being terrific. He was caught on his hills few times, and did not even tested Walker. Dalot came thru and nutmegged Walker, as he had the courage to take him on, unlike Rashford. He lost almost every foot race, and every duel.

I do agree that pass made the goal.

Worked hard, great pass to Garnacho, lots of quality when we broke. His problem clearly isn't talent, it's psychological. There's still a very very good player in there.

Great pass but he had no taste for challenging Walker, much like earlier this season.

Be very surprised if he’s still at the club in August.

Super cross field switch pass in the build-up to Mainoo's goal. Otherwise, wasn't much of a threat, rarely involved. Failed to control at least one long pass over the top. I suppose he must have done his job defensively as City created so little in the first half but Marcus rarely presses opponents.

Pace is gone because he can’t keep up with Kyle Walker, ok :wenger:

He was also outpacing Walker but Walker’s brilliant at getting around and putting in challenges when people have to slow down to get the ball under control (and is still ludicrously quick himself for 34).
