Agreed. And that's why I'd put Rashford back in the team; not like it will make us any worse
he doesn’t try though?

I did think he'd put in more effort after the drop. Sucks to be wrongFunny how people thought it would change when Rashford got dropped.
Shame that Garnacho helping out defensively has cost him going forward. The poor touches and snatching at chances is possibly linked to his effort at the other end. This is where a Sancho would be useful. We’ve looked equally toothless yet considerably more defensively solid. Taking him out has removed the way he was actively detrimental to the team. So that’s a positive. It’s obviously unfortunate that nobody has been able to better his almost non existent attacking threat but ho hum, we don’t miss what was never there.
Yep. This is what has turned the fans against him. He appears to think he's above the hard work necessary, especially when in such dogshite form.I can’t forgive a player giving up, not tracking back, not pressing, ducking out of 50/50s. A player so highly regarded within the club on such a mind blowing contract. Earth shattering money. With so much faith put into him.
to barely try and have the body language he does.. your playing for man united. What a honour and privilege that is. Every time you go pull that shirt on it should spur you on, to give everything you got. if it doesn’t, you should leave.
You run for 90 minutes and never ever give up. No matter what. You never ever give up. It’s the bare minimum expectation. The very least.
I’d sell him at the first possible opportunity and give the honour to someone who tries.

cant blame the manager who backed him and tried to play him into form, he doesnt really have a leg to stand onthis begs the question: what is wrong with him?
will he write a book at 40 mentioning the mental health issues he suffered during his playing career? Or did he just get moody and lazy all of a sudden?
he genuinely looks disinterested. Turned into Martial with his body language and facial expressions which spreads so much negative energy.
Why are you only including the last 6 matches I wonder…You think? Bournemouth have scored 15 goals in their last 6 matches. Remind me how many Newcastle have scored over the same period?

Yet still stands that Newcastle are a better attacking team than BournemouthYou spend a lot of time wondering. Here’s a clue. Look up how recently we played both these teams.
Yeah apart from the times Rashford has teed Hojlund up nicelyHojlund doesn’t not get chances when Rashford isn’t playing
You might want to check your post doesn’t make much sense, unless you are making a joke?Yeah apart from the times Rashford has teed Hojlund up nicely
Your post wasn't referring to yesterday specifically, I posted off the general point you madeYou might want to check your post doesn’t make much sense, unless you are making a joke?
Rashford can’t tee him up when he is not playing like I said

no one really knows. It isn’t normal to go from last season to this, I don’t think I can think of a player with a bigger drop off in a season. It looks like he’s genuinely upset at something, pissed off almost.
He’s already the most inconsistent player out there but this is something different. This is lack of effort and attitude. If it’s his attitude then he needs to be sold asap because this will keep happening every time he doesn’t like something. If it’s mental health he needs to take time out to deal with it properly, I think most people would understand that.
it's my fault man.https://x.com/utdeiiis/status/1738598949043286433?s=46&t=J9aYN7zBl62Iz91AEnt3Dg
Look who creates the majority of Hojlunds chances this season
Like I said if Rashford is not playing, Hojlund doesnt get chances
Yet still stands that Newcastle are a better attacking team than Bournemouth
I did try to tell you hahahait's my fault man.
Totally misread the initial post, thought you said Hojlund did Not get chances if Rashford plays
Yes for a few weeks Bournemouth also scored more goals than City. You want to also argue they are a better attacking team than City? There is a reason a season is not 6 weeks longNo it doesn’t stand. As I said, compare their goals tally over the period of time we played both those teams. One team scored a lot of goals. One didn’t. Some more wondering for you. If a team A scores less goals than team B over an equivalent period of time is it really a better attacking team?

Yet here we are, discussing fixtures that took place over the last 6 weeks. Makes you wonder…
It feels like there's unrest between him and the manager for whatever reason. Plus the Sancho situation, when players are close with one another and they feel mistreated it could have a detrimental effect on the squad when they aren't sold immediately. There was talk in the press a few months back that a select group of the players were unhappy in the dressing room I don't like to speculate but I reckon it's pretty telling that Marcus was one of them.
In hindsight, he is the guy whose career took a wrong turn when he decided he is going to be a striker. Had he decided to be a right winger then what a player he could have been to united. IMHO young Rashford had everything to eventually become a legendary RW.
I think it's time to give him a start today with the mandate that he fecking gets the ball into Hojlund (and of course put in a shift defensively.)
He isn’t going anywhere unfortunately. He will be here next season
Why better right than left?In hindsight, he is the guy whose career took a wrong turn when he decided he is going to be a striker. Had he decided to be a right winger then what a player he could have been to united. IMHO young Rashford had everything to eventually become a legendary RW.
Didn't he say in that short interview with Neville some months back that he prefers LW, then striker and then RWWhy better right than left?
Didn’t Rashford himself say he saw himself as a right winger when he was a teenager (isn’t there like some sort of self written report, or social media post kicking about?).
