He was our biggest threat and was good to see him committing players again. Needed a bit more composure but thought he had a good match overall.
Should have scored his 1v1 obviously but overall a really positive display, looked closer to his prime self from a couple of years ago.

He was our most dangerous player by far. His finishing was shite, though. Another night and he'd have scored at least 3.

Frustrating, he did a lot of good things tonight and was our main attacking threat. But he is totally let down by his finishing and also vision to pick out others.
absolutely, looks a proper threat and the team faded when he was nullified in second half. Most exciting player in our attack. Get Antony and Antony M working day in, and day out with Ronaldo making goals off the bench and we're laughing.

He always had this kind of game in him where he misses everything.But last season he didn't even get chances. Just strolled around and looked completely desintrested. It's so much better what he's showing lately.

He had a few bozo moments towards the end and faded when he moved centrally and despite his shite finishing, he put in a decent performance. Similar performances will keep him on the scoresheet as I don't think he can finish any worse than he did today.
Thought he played pretty well for his standards, but that type of finishing is sort of why he's never going to be a top, top player. Can still really contribute for good teams at his position, but he's too erratic in front of goal to take it to the next level given his role.
His overall game is back to its very best. The goals will come. Chuffed for Marcus.

Thought he was very lively first half and unlucky not to score and then his second half was bad. How did he miss that chance when he was clean through? Even the referee gave it as a corner as he thought it must have had a touch from the goalkeeper as it was so off target
This game highlighted his absolute best and absolute worst qualities. Lots of good and lots of bad.
There's a few players in our squad where you know exactly what you will get when they play. With Rashford it's a disjointed attack and wasteful finishing against anybody who doesn't leave space for him to run into. He played well for him but those things were still in abundance.

Bit of a weird game for him, it's great to see him being more assertive and taking on players to find openings but his finishing was so atrocious bar a couple of shots in the first half that it became frustrating to watch. With some proper shooting boots he would've had a hattrick.
Very wasteful. His finishing has been a problem for years and it doesn't look to be getting better.
