He’s infuriating and can be quite limited at times, but he’s one of the most exhilarating players around when he’s going full throttle. I love seeing him race forward with the ball.

He’s looking like he’s had a new lease of life.

Good game today, unlucky for the disallowed goal, and I think he can get even better and be a force to reckon with

Am I the only one that thought he was poor?

Decent link up play, poor going forward, offered little in the press and was losing loads of his battles
He was ok , nothing special . He was on Colemans side and he didn’t really take advantage of that tbh.
I would say he’s less shit than last year at least

I also didn’t think he was good. The problem is his bar is SO low that fans lap up these 4/10 performances with glee, forgetting he is one of the highest paid players in the league and should be doing more than ’link up play and passing and running fast’.

Better than he’s been for years but still not good enough.

Super cross for Casemiro's header. Unlucky to have goal ruled out for handball

Ah so nice to have normal Rashford back. Nothing special today but he's happy and enjoying his football again and back to just being a very good attacker. Both him and Martial are very important to us as we don't have alternatives to back up what they offer. Rashfords goal threat in behind, Martials hold up play.

Disallowing that goal is madness, but he'll score plenty more so whatever.

He looks like he's finally turned a positive corner. Looks to have that spring in his step back and hunger.

Much better than some previous games where he had goal contributions.

Hes good down the left. Not so good through the middle

Credits to Ten Hag for making Rashford look like his old self again. He's quality if he really wants to.

Lads don't get excited just yet!

We all know that he will struggle again with his motivation. Let's hope something in him just clicked though.

That left spot should be his. Looks a much better player overall and played really well today I thought.

Absolutely robbed for his goal, joke of a decision. Great to see him confident and on form again.

Although i think the VAR decision was a bit of a joke, he should have just passed it to Bruno who had the open goal. Of course here it worked but the pass was the way easier option and then VAR wouldn't even disallow it as the rule is only this shitty if the goalscorer touched the ball with his hand. Still, can't criticize him too much as it was a bad decision in my opinion.

Overall i liked him today. Improving a lot on the ball in the last few weeks. Hopefully he can continue to improve and get back to his best.

Really liked his play today. His possession, jukes and dribbling moves were impressive. It really feels like he has his confidence back.

I thought this was one of his best overall performances in a while. Forgetting the goal that wasn't to be, I thought he took the right options which is usually a frustration with him. He didn't need the goal or assist for a good performance whereas usually he does. Tarkowski and co didn't have the athleticism to deal with him.

He was ok in the 2nd half nothing more nothing less. Most of our players now get lauded with praise because we managed to win, if everton had equalized the overall comments would be completely different. That is how it works.
Could have had a goal and assist so that automatically makes he had a decent game at least.

Shame he got a goal disallowed.

I think overall he was a bit his and miss. He needs to work some consistency in his decision making. He's playing with a bit more confidence which is great to see.

I'm leaning on the bad to mediocre performance this match. Its in the acceptable, not his day tier of bad though so no real complaints.

Remember this one ?

It’s the correct decision to disallow that goal but it’s a terrible rule. Completely unnecessary to rule out good goals like that just because there’s an accidentally handball. I dislike that rule more than any other in football.

It’s the inconsistency is the problem . Michel Antonio’s was far more obvious today and wasn’t looked at

Just thinking about that stupid disallowed goal. He must have felt the ball hit his arm. He must have known that VAR would have a look if he scored. He must have known that if another player scored then his accidental handball wouldn’t be an issue.

Sooooooo… should he be criticised for not rolling it to Bruno for a tap-in?

No.

No because actually he probably did not feel it. Me thinks you don’t really like the player

That’s quite a reach.

 Feck off. Believe it or not, not every post has an agenda. I hate that stupid fecking rule but I do think Rashford could have been smarter there. If the ball hits your arm, you feel it and if he’d been a bit quicker thinking he could have removed any possible doubt from the situation.

As for his performance. He played pretty well. No complaints from me.

If a ball hits your arm you feel it. Again the mistake you’re making is that assumption right there.

Tbh I think your bar is more off than most if that is a 4/10 performance to you. He pressed very well for 80 mins. He passed well and played good link up, which is important obviously, and he did more than that, as he did more than enough to get an assist and a goal. That is a 7/10 at least in my book.

Eh? If a football could hit you on your bare arm without you feeling it I’d suggest seeing a neurologist.

No, it’s quite usual. I’ve experienced it several times playing. If you’re hit several places in very short sequence and time, it’s often enough to confuse the executive functions so as to not be sure where you’ve been hit. A good neuropsychologist might explain why, but it’s an advantage if he has played cmpetitive team sports, of course.

I think Rashford was quite good. I like that he's stopped trying to run through 3 defenders and making much better decisions on the ball. He deserved his goal. These rules need a change. He also put a brilliant ball into Casemiro. He should have had a goal and an assist.
