He's an absolute goal machine at the minute, easily one of the most in form players in world football. The turnaround after last season is quite something.
I said he’s arguably the best in the world (with Mbappé and Haaland) on form a few weeks back. People are starting to realise.

He really is a wonderful player to see in full flow; fast, elegant, strong and way more clinical than he's ever been.

The fact that he's a decent human who has been brought up to be humble and caring is also huge testament to his mum. I generally tear up a bit when I try to imagine how proud of him she must be.

A real positive of tonight was how gutted he was coming off. He’s becoming a winner.

Perhaps they subtracting a deflected goal of some sort?

Anyways, I would count the Everton disallowed goal. :wenger:
And the Wolves disallowed goal

And the Reading disallowed goal

He should be breaking 30 this season, maybe even more if he keeps getting the support.

Excellent performance. His movement and goal threat were top class. There were a few times when he was over indulgent and should have passed to keep the move flowing so hopefully ETH sorts that out. But otherwise can’t complain and long may it continue!

Carries our goal threat. It's insane.

Has there been another player that looked like how Rashford did last season and transform into one of the best players in the world? His transformation is unreal.
He is being transformed into a world class centre-forward and not many are noticing.
ballon d'or winner form.
Get his and Garnachos contracts sorted asap. I find it worrying that this hasn’t been sorted already, I’m certain we’ve been trying to get it sorted..

Getting to the point where he walks into any team in the world.
I think we need to calm a bit and remember he's not the top striker at world level and hasn't been ever. What I mean is the forwards he is supposed to be competing with score goals in the champions league along with the odd international campaign where they lead the charts. If we are being real Rashford has 12 league goals (there is a guy on 26) Europe League goals (Europe's minnow comp), and scored 2 in the world cup, and some cup games against the likes of Forest, Charlton, Burnley, Villa. I mean that's hardly world level now is it? Like other strikers have had to prove at much higher level before we called them world class or best in the world. Lets see him carry this form into the CL, become and important player for England before we start talking him up with the greats of the game. Reality is his resume and even current form is simply lower comp. He's my guy though and carrying our league campaign at the moment

Searched " Ramadona" and nothing was found. Why? Only me call him that?

There’s always one. . .

Could possibly reach 35-40 goals for the season if he keeps this up. Who would have predicted that at the start of the season?!

I'm not sure mate. This is his third season out of his last four where he's scored over 20 goals in all competitions. He's also scored more league goals this season than any other inside forward in the Premier League. You talk about the teams he has scored against this season, but goals against City, Liverpool, Arsenal and now Barcelona isn't too shabby. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Don’t get this argument. Rashford scores probably 80% of our goals against the elite teams. He has done since he broke through in 2016.

We really need to get him support this summer because right now he is absolutely carrying this attack.

Watching him reach the levels he has this season has been an absolute pleasure. Young Manchester kid, coming through the academy to become a world class attacking player. It doesn’t get better then that. Injuries permitting he’ll go on to become a club legend. Absolutely love the kid. He’s even turning out to be as good a number 9 as he is a winger, which I didn’t think he would be able to do. Just please please please don’t get injured.

But he is part of the team, and he has not performed well in the semis or finals. And even today, his decision making was bad when he could have slipped in weghorst or garnacho.
I don’t think we can win the major trophies with him in the team
Nonsense. He's one of the best big game players around.

"I don’t think" is the most accurate statement I've seen by you on the CAF today

He's amazing. I'll call long shot again and say he will become our best scorer ever. He's not even half way there yet, but it looks as if he has broken that barrier only very few are capable of breaking, to score 30+ goals a season. Actually, he looks 40+, perhaps even 50, goal machine after the World Cup.

Hopefully he avoids injuries and keeps developing, because he still isn't completely finished article. That's actually best thing about him, he can become even better.

You post embarrassing nonsense regularly.

In the form of his life. His finishing is deadlier than ever, I don't think there are many defenders comfortable with him when one-or-one, he is just scary as a forward this year.

But, as Ten Hag is like in his post-match interviews, I won't say things are perfect; when it comes to a point where he needs to choose between his shot or a pass to a teammate, he needs to realise the latter can be done. He is in such hot form that perhaps he feels he gets tunnel vision of the goal and being the saviour every time, but he needs to be more open to being a creator alongside the goalscoring machine he is.

Minor observation on what I thought was a dominant performance in an extremely tough environment against a revived team. My view may seem harsh, but considering how low his level got to last year with that potential, the guy is still young and has much more to add to his game. Scary how much more he can bring in facy.

You're saying you got fooled by ETH starting WW upfront for the past few games; and didn't watch when Rashford was moved up front?

4D chess :smirk:

The anti Rashford was busy marking Sancho, while Rashford terrorizing your mate Alba.

His development under ETH has been nothing short of special, he looks fitter than ever, he's become a player the opposition would make a pre-match plan on how to stop, at the moment his off the ball movement is at world class levels.

Excellent, he was a menace all night when a couple of our other attackers offered very little. Is he too experienced for that to be a "coming of age" performance?

No. Luis Suarez didn't score that much when he first moved to Liverpool for a couple years. Then not only he started to score at the rate comparable to his Ajax time, he became among the best of his positions.

RvP with injuries may be different, but could be said to be similar too. A wonderkid but didn't directly replace Henry. There was a time of wilderness when Arsenal went through Adebayor, Bendner, Eduador, Chamakh... before RvP top class level emerged closer to his 30 year old.

In older generation, perhaps Ian Wright another example?

Dog shit for best part of two years. Brilliant now. Facts are facts. To me it looks as if he's simplified/refined his game to be ridiculously effective. Has to be up there with one of the top players in the major leagues right now.

Fancy him to score every time he gets a chance.
