Looks like Rashford is getting his hole again we can all rejoice…

You’re not wrong but it’s laughably hypocritical coming from you who routinely shits on other players.

Other than Pogba I don't agree. And I have made my point on why I don't support Pogba anymore plenty of times so won't be bringing that up again as I'm bored with it now.

I stuck with Ole longer than most did and I will stick with Rashford as he's a red like we are and he will know more than anyone he's simply not playing well enough.

His lack of effort is an affront to the fans. What is it with our players strolling around not giving a shit?
I would tell him to take a 2 week holiday and sort his nut out.
Elanga looked twice the player last night, he should hopefully get a start now.

I think that's all he needs to be honst. I think Sancho has been sloppy, been way more effective than Rashford. I think him and Greenwood are competing for the same spot at the moment. Cavani first name on the team sheet and I genuinely think Elanga deserves a go.

I never seen any player in any club with the attitude like this prick. Sell him now. ASAP. Its inexcusable what he is doing on the pich with the money he is on.

Someone else recently said that they wouldn't be surprised to find out that he's suffering from some mental health issues, and honestly I can see that too. He just doesn't look right, and I think it most probably goes beyond football. Aside from his form I hope he's doing ok as a person

What you've done with your life?

What so if your not a professional footballer earning millions of pounds it means you haven’t done anything with your life? We’re the fans on a fan forum, we can have a opinion.

No one is comparing their life to rashfords, not many earn anything close to this guy, footballers are a very small pool in society, which is why it’s so disheartening to see him trudge around the pitch like he does. His body language is really really bad. His effort levels are practically non existent. If he has issues going on, needs time off, so be it, he is human after all but he needs to do better aslong as he pulls on that shirt, Or be honest enough to put yourself out of the equation. This team is in trouble and we can’t carry people regardless of how much we like them.

It's almost like him being an amazing person is now being used against him. Incredible how pathetic some people are. We should be proud of him not slaughtering him for it.

And his form will come back. He's not washed up at 24.

What's your biggest achievement in life mate? You got an MBE? You played for England and United. You scored nearly 100 goals for United? Nah didn't think so.

He's one of our own. We support him. That's our job.

As said above this is pathetic. What does him having a MBE have to do with his performances on the pitch ffs? Stop it

I dont think the suggestion is that he's done something with his life because he's a professional footballer but rather because of all the people his charity work has helped.

Just doesn't look fit to me. He was blowing after 60 mins.

Are some of them putting the yards in away from the pitch?

A shame that loyalty of yours doesn't extend to other players. Maybe because they're not "one of our own" as you put it.

I think he needs to get rid of the colour on his hair and he’ll get back his real form. That’s the only plausible explanation i can think of him now

yes and no one debated what he has done off the pitch isn’t great, it is.

this thread is based on his performances on the pitch as a United player, not his off the field work. That’s what we’re here to talk about, isn’t it?

Feel for him. Looks shot to pieces.

Though not sure why some supporters feel the need to be so unsavoury in their criticism towards him.

This is it... the posts saying lack of effort don't ring true to me as Rashford was spent last night and it made me wonder if he is lacking fitness. You could see he was shattered long before he was finally brought off. You could see him hunched over with his hands on his knees and me and my mates were all saying he needs to get subbed off.

Like he would not shoot from that position. Pot calling kettle black. I think he felt threatened by Greenwood rise to the first team

Yeah I agree. If that's his reaction to Greenwood, then he's not up to it to be honest. Just a year ago, the idea of him being sold seems ridiculous to me. Talented academy player, jersey number 10 etc, but if this is how he reacts to his place being under threat, I won't be too sad about him leaving.

Greenwood's selfishness is still a concern though. Guy needs to be told he can pass the ball in the final third but that's for another thread.

You are right, to an extent, but that support is not unconditional and unending. I like the guy, and think he could be a very good player again, but the minimum I expect in return for my support is effort, and commitment. Not losing the ball and standing there waving his arms around like a child while villa attack from his mistake, not refusing to chase a ball because he didnt get the pass he wanted. If the effort and commitment is there Ill support him though thick and thin, what ever is the cause of his problems, if its not he can do one.

The I told you so's would've been going crazy if he'd scored from that Greenwood shot with Ronaldo not around, but alas he couldn't be arsed

Honestly the only thing keeping him "safe" right now is his status as local lad and his out of field stuff. Imagine his name is Marcus Rashensinho from Brazil. He would be booed and jeered off all the time because of typical "selfish" "lazy" "low workrate" south american player. Plus the pundit would bash him 24/7 in motd

The chances of him making the WC squad are slim to none, which is a good thing if we want to see him getting back to his best. Needs those 2/3 months off in the summer and reset himself, otherwise his career can easily head into obscurity.

I struggle to see him really turn it around before then, but happy to be proven wrong.

He looked utterly spent in the second half last night. The ball into Greenwood, at first glance, I can kind of understand. He's scratching for form and looked into two minds, play the ball early or take it on for a shot. He did neither, he took too many touches and tried to square it.

What was surprising was when Martinez spilled the ball and he did not make a single attempt to get the ball from the rebound.

Agree with this, his body language is even worse than Martial's, a feat I never thought possible.

Look at this video. Tell me who is not putting in effort with the drills

I can’t post videos. YouTube, Ralf giving strong orders

Does anybody know what he done after the euros? Did he go on the piss, or did he just go home? What is his lifestyle like? Is he regularly seen out and about In bars?
He went on holiday with Jadon. They posted a video of themselves goofing around and rapping on private plane a day or two after missing those penalties.

It was a really weird moment to be honest, you really expect any player to chase that. Having said that, I don't think he'd have got to it. Maybe he knew that, I don't know. He still should have tried.

To me he just looks like he's not enjoying his time on the pitch at all. Some of that is probably because he isn't performing at the level he knows he can, but I think there's something else going on with him beyond just poor form. I thought in the first half he looked a bit brighter than he has, but still nothing came off and he was really poor second half.

I don't really buy into the "no effort" angle. I believe Rashford when he says he loves the club and knows what it means, I think he puts the work in. The times he isn't tracking back are often most likely because he's the one player told to stay up because he can counter. And let's not forget he's not the only player doing shite at the moment.

I don't think he could be doing much more to broadcast to the manager that he shouldn't be playing...yet he still plays him. That's all on the manager. Apart from actually telling the manager that he doesn't want to play, this is as obvious as a footballer can get. The man isn't fit. Physically or mentally, I don't know what it is, but he shouldn't be on that pitch.

Got no idea what Ralf is thinking to be honest.

Play Elanga more, maybe Marcus will wake up. Or maybe Elanga will rise to the occasion, either way its a good thing for United.

The weird thing is first 10-15 mins I thought he looked like he had his tail up. He had a few runs at people. Didn't amount to anything but I thought this could be a decent night.

Then it reverted back to what we've seen this season.

Him being an amazing person is letting him slide for shit performances in many people’s minds. How can you not see this?
