Well, you haven't actually
I know Rashford can do great stuff on occasion, have no doubts of that whatsoever.
My point or criticism is that he too often makes a decision that is on the low probability end of being successful in it's outcome. So far too often he will go for that 20% chance of something coming off, or often lower. Now every so often, one of these things he tries is going to come off, according to the probability and Rashford will meg a player or score a worldie or something. And the rashford fan club on here go "see, I told you so, he's WORLD CLASS', while overlooking the long term impact the 80% of the time these decisions result in a poor outcome and basically contribute towards costing us points.
Watching any Guardiola team, the decision making is so carefully managed. Once it veers into loss making territory it's stamped or rather coached out of the players. You can see a similar thing in Kane's game, where what makes him so devastatingly effective - and he seems to be getting better at this - is just the way he seems to inwardly calculate the effectiveness of anything he tries and mostly manage to pick the best decisions consistently.
So it doesn't matter if Rashford scores a worldie. I've never doubted his general ability. But his decision making is a massive glaring problem that shouldn't be glossed over and ignored for months at a time just because every 6 months or so he might score a contender for goal of the month.
Gets really tedious how this quickly turns into a sh*t flinging contest because someone has dared to criticise people's hero.
