He produced some magic today, he is really evolving as a player.
He was very good in the 2nd.
He's not playing as direct as he was prior to the break. He is linking up more and playing penetrative passes.
Played much better 2nd half. Those over laps with shaw are Starting to become really dangerous.
looking like he’s getting a bit of his form back now
I feel his ball control and first touch is one of his best attributes. Countless times you see him pick a ball out of the sky and slip it through a defenders legs.I think thats a result of us being more of a controling team now with Bruno and Pogba in midfield. I think Rashford trives better in a counter attacking team, a bit like we were pre break.
He's strong as an ox, fast as lightening and has upgraded his passing skills. I think as a team we have evolved to the next level with Bruno and Pogba and Martial stepping up. And with that i think he isnt technical good enought to bench Marial, Greenwood or Sancho (if we buy him). His ball control isnt quite up there and i feel he some times is a bit.. clumsy?
He is still a very very good player and he will have an important part to play in our future success.
He really matured over the lockdown. He now knows when to drive into space or when passing to a teammate is the better option
I don't think that's why tbh. I think he's just being coached to play that way. Greenwood also hardly tries to dribble his man unless the space is provided. It's like we just keep possession and if the space is there, go for it and dribbleAgree, but still cant shake the feeling that he’s still abit doubting about going full speed forward 1v1 after his injury.
He’s very unselfish , had a few opportunities to shoot and he passed it.

Great first touch from that Pogba pass to get in behind near the end of the game. Alongside his passing it’s one part of his game that has come on leaps and bounds.

He’s doing my head in. Thinks he’s a playmaker. Needs to make some runs off the ball, he hasn’t been doing that enough all season but since the restart it’s been close to non-existent.
I really could see a few today, just didnt get pinged.
