That run up was Rooney like.

The balls to take that pen.

Immense pressure on that pen, holy shit. And he did it. Take a bow.

Thought he was shite tonight but that only made the penalty all the more impressive.

Someone needs to check his pulse and if there's a chip behind his neck. The way He took that penalty, the way his face looked after He scored the penalty and the interview He gave. He's not human.

Personally thought it was never in doubt, considering that pen in the world cup.

Once the PK was called I had no idea who was going to step and take it. Couldn't have done any better!

Cool as you like with that penalty. Buffon is still one of the best there is so the pressure was really on. And to think this is the player Jose got exasperated with.

In truth it wasn't anywhere near Marcus at his best, but he was like the fecking arctic on that penalty, incredible nerve.

Him playing poorly and still managing to massively contribute to Lukaku's goals with a well-timed and scary press and then a shot that was always likely to trouble the keeper in that weather with that drop and then looking icecold on the pen, impressive.

I think he played well today, had a different role in that he needed to be the creator. He is not 100%, I also thought he was limping after an early bump in the match

Was very poor but was ice cool for the pen. Dalot's strike changed the whole narrative on his performance.

Played poor tonight in all honesty; poor decision making, poor anticipation, and that dead ball he kicked across field and out of play basically summed it up.

Took the pressure of the penalty like an absolute G though and more than makes up for the above. To be able to do that when having one of those nights is an excellent quality.

He didn't has a good game at all being honest, he is clearly not 100% fit but man the ELEPHANT BALLS he showed to take the penaly, he clearly has the mentality I was shitting my pants to see the penalty I can't even imagine the pressure he had on his shoulders and he did it great, strong well located shot, delighted for him.

He had a few dodgy moments but if not for his pressing and shot in the first half we don’t score those goals. Then to score that penalty when and how he did. He had a great game for a striker!

An off night, the occasion may have gotten to him, but however his career ends up he's already written himself into United folklore. Well done, took a lot of courage to stand up and take that penalty.

He hasn't seemed 100% since the ankle injury and made some strange decisions tonight but absolute nerves of steel to bury that penalty!! love that he stepped up and wanted to take it

21 year old kid not afraid of stepping against guy who's experience is Rashford's age . Salute.

Play shit, has ice in his veins and scores when it matters most.

He should become our main penalty taker. He shoots the ball with as much power as he can. Sure, occasionally he will put it out of the goal, but the keepers have no chance.

Love Rashford. If I was coach would have taken him off for Greenwood, but I can't help but love him and the fact that he proves everyone (me too) wrong game after game.

I think the best penalty taker i've ever seen is Shearer and he always blasted them hard and high, no keeper is going to save that. That moment is going to be with him for the rest of his career imo

I will never ever again complain when he takes stupid long shots  “No shots, no goals” goes the saying and he proved it yesterday. In a match with close to zero chances it is necessary to take chance shots from long distance.

Those 3 minutes were the longest of my life. I felt sick. Feck knows how Rashford was feeling.
To be fair it was a good height for the keeper, but it was the power of the side foot that did it. Unbelievable

That was some pen. He didn't have his best game but contributed to the second goal and scored the third. Fantastic.

Just re-watched the penalty and fecking hell, it STILL makes me nervous. I'm feeling so stressed after watching the clip... even though I know he scored.

Can't even begin to imagine how HE felt out there. That was a "Nani in Moscow" moment.

He's going to be a great forward for us. He was giving them a torrid time even if he didn't make the right decisions.

That's the sign of a class player. Had a below par match but stepped up with a last minute penalty and smashed it away.

If he missed it would have been so different, it could have really ruined him. That mentality is something you just can't train.

I was raging with him most of the night, but he clearly wasn't 100% because he just wasn't at himself.....BUT what a guy to bang that in under the circumstances. Imagine being in his position, born and bred and doing that. Stuff of dreams

Awful game, but feck me. What a temperament to score that penalty. Only 21, it would be interesting to find out about his psychology because that was something else.
