Rashford could play on the right fine as part of a front three, but if it's a 4231 and he's expected to keep width it's a waste.

I know it's a boring comparison but Mbappe plays as a right sided forward in a 433 for PSG, the full back provides the width.

We could do similar with Rashford, although I prefer the option of Rashford on the left with Martial in behind Lukaku with Mkhi or Mata on the right.

Aye. He was the only one that recognized the GK's insecurity though and kept pressing the issue all night. The corners were part of it. I wouldn't give all the credit to the GK.
