He played well last night all things considered He had nothing but scraps to feed off and still managed to cause Chelsea problems on a-few occasions.
Played well but needs to go on loan and score bucketloads before coming back to us. Too raw to be leading line for title competing side.
It would be stupid to loan him out. He has played 37 games this season so he is important first team player, there is no reason to loan him.
He needs to be playing as a 9 regularly and develop his edge in front of goal.
Great attitude providing he's not risking serious injury and it was just illness. He's clearly hungry to prove himself.
So you're saying he wanted to hit the keeper's leg ?No, it is not. A miss means not hitting the target, which he did. By no means was that a 'terrible miss'.
My view exactly.I'm a huge Rashford fan, but he should have hit the net and he knows it. He knows it.
Well done Rash - great attitude, great spirit!
That's the difference between guys like him and money grabbers like DiMaria. Those players are one of the main reasons why I have always loved United.
Had a very good game under very difficult circumstances. Considering he's still only 19 years old I honestly does not even care about the missed chance. He had nearly no support but tried very hard. In a nutshell: My MOTM.
That quite the conclusion from one chance on his weaker foot against a top keeper and which he pretty much manufactured for himself. It was a bad miss. Whether this is Zlatan, Rashford or Ronaldo.
When you're loosing 1-0 and you get a one vs one you have to score no matter who is the keeper or who is the striker.
The striker has the ball and it's up to him to score or not.
Young, tired or so. We don't care, he had to score that opportunity.
If we still accept mediocrity, our players will all finish like Walcott, Oxlade etc

I think you're reading too much into one chance.
What I like is that he looks genuinely pissed off when he doesn't take it. With Welbeck he never seemed that bothered. Not scoring didn't anger him enough.
You're right. Rashford looked seriously pissed off last night. Especially with the ball that caught him offside. He was screaming to Pogba to play it quicker. You didn't need to be a lip reader to see how unhappy he was. First time I've seen him as fired up as that. I hope he starts again on Thursday.

Also got the sense that for Mourinho, it is entirely upon the player to prove himself and take his chances. Rashford must have played through some sort of illness and he played his heart out. Think Mourinho respects that a lot. A bit like Fergusson. That is the reason why he is always playing Rashford whenever he gets the opportunity, even trusting him more than the more talented Martial.
Rashford will get two more opportunities to play as a striker. It will help him sharpen his striker instincts. Am always excited to see Rashford play more than Zlatan even though Zlatan is our top scorer and all.
Hope he is, he deserve it.In the England squad (will be named on Thursday) according to BBC.
Why not both?He has sufficient ability and the right attitude to succeed at United. The next few league games will be a huge opportunity for him to impress Mourinho (and fickle United fans who are dreaming of mbappe). Hope he takes it with both hands.
You forget how good he is when you see him actually down the middle. Still a little rash but he is still extremely young.
Yes so can we afford to keep playing him up front?
hehe
