He's been pretty good but of course, he needs to work on finishing. That being said, I hope playing him as a winger doesn't diminish his nose for the goal. The job that Jose requires from a winger is vastly different from what he needs from a striker and 'switching' between the two modes is no easy feat.

The kid's been great. The goals will come. Not scoring for quite a while may make you force things a bit, but once he scores again he'll settle down. Hope things continue to go well in this game and that he gets his goal...

Needs to score today or he'll come off frustrated and disappointed rather than happy with a good performance, which it is.

Good use of his pace to have gotten into so many goal scoring positions but his finishing has been atrocious.

Worrying as this is 3rd rate fodder

His movements is good but he need to calm down when it's time to shot.

Rashford has a bright future ahead of him but still needs time before he's ready to lead the lines.

He deserves a goal and has played well overall, but he needs to work on his composure in front of goal and his finishing - hopefully he's getting some tips from Zlatan in training.

People in the match thread saying he's been rubbish are a perfect example of how too many people can't see anything beyond stats these days.
He's playing against a 3rd rate defence who have stage fright. Of course someone with his pace will look good against such poor opposition.

The only way to demonstrate class against such teams for a no 9 is to do his job which is convert chances. He has failed spectacularly against that criteria

He failed spectacularly on one chance. The rest of his game has been top notch and it's just a bad run in front of goal.

He's young so not surprising his end product is sporadic, it'll come, he has that need every now and again to beat his man multiple times like Ronnie first did before getting a cross in.
Not concerned right now, his runs are so intelligent for his age that the rest will follow

Lively but rubbish finishing. His goals usually come from intuitive shooting in the box. But 1v1 against a keeper he is very unsettled. Needs to improve the finishing
Not so sure I agree, his 1v1 against England's number 1 was superb, he did everything right with his first chance today just missed the target and lost a bit of confidence.
That's fine, he hasn't had much first team football

Why are people so negative over his performance? I think he's been doing pretty well, his finishing might be letting him down, but he's still making an impact on the game.

Need to chill out like

Doesn't stop running. Nightmare for defenders.

Only thing lacking is his finishing, which he's normally quite good at. Still think he'll score, though.

He's doing really well, scoring or not scoring doesn't dictate whether it's a good performance. His overall play has been as good as it has been all season, making runs all day, sharp passing and good crossing. What I really like is he's actually competing in the air instead of just turning around which pissed me off no end.

You talking about the ball the defender intercepted that people in the match thread are somehow blaming on Rashford?

No, his game from start to finish. It's obviously not working for him at all today, we should just switch him for Mkhi

So happy for him, was doing fine enough the whole game.

Worry when a striker isn't getting chances, not when he's missing them.

Lovely finish and good to see he has the personality not to let a few misses get to him.

Gonna be a star.

Get in. He needed a goal today for confidence after the earlier spurned chances

Played well other than the few missed chances
