Love this kid. He must start. Great to see Zlatan giving him a big hug... :drool:
 
He is just brilliant, he doesn't even have average games.
 
He's great, but young. Martial was great last season and is having a down time. I'm sure Jose knows how to handle him. So much pressure was put on Martial last season....I don't want the same pressure to be loaded onto Rashford. Ease him in....even if it's the Ole supersub status for a while.
 
What a guy we have on our hands.

When he ran at 3 defenders and got a shot off that Hull keeper had to dive and turn around, I thought that was the moment we really started testing their keeper. Till then we were playing around their box without really testing the keeper. And that cross into the box from Rashford was amazing, it was clear Zlatan didn't expect such a quality ball and was disappointed at himself for not having a go at it.

This guy produces genuine moments of quality and makes me love and enjoy football the way it should be
 
Just brilliant. I think a lot of Utd fans would like to see him start. Certainly put his case forwards today, he changed the game.
 
Of course he scored. When does he not score? Should be back in the starting line-up as of now, and you can take him back out again if and when the goals stop coming, but don't hold your breath.
 
Amazing talent. I love his fearlessness. Should get the start vs City imo.
 
I think it's pretty clear we've got a potential world class talent on our hands, the lad changes games and makes defenders look ordinary.

He did exactly what Martial was expected to do against team who parked the bus like that; run at defenders, get into the box and take a shot. That ground shot from him reminds me of his goal last year which ended up in the top corner. Quality stuff.

So much talent. Hes so willing to run its brilliant. Whether its in behind,into space or just run at a player with the ball. Pace is great and when you've control to go with it. Wow.
 
Should start against City definitely. Changed the game, had a great shot through the legs of Hull defender which their keeper saved, was all around, ran, dribbled and was rewarded with a goal.

What a players. And he's so young.
 
Fantastic performance, not just his instinct and awareness to make the run for the goal, but his all round play on both flanks and through the middle when he came on was class. The chance he made for Micki is a great example of how he's older in his football years than his living ones, to pick him out in that situation is not the kind of awareness and composure you expect from an 18 year old.
 
I've a feeling he won't start next game as Mourinho seems to like sticking with the same team.

Solskjær could score 4 goals as a sub without starting the next match. Rashford's goal just shows that Mourinho can trust him as an impact sub at least, and that's a start. He's only 18 after all, and apart from Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs I can't remember anyone being a starter for us at that age in the last 25 years.
 
Every time he gets the ball you feel something is going to happen. He drives at defenders and can actually beat a man which is very rare for any of our other players.

He needs to start against City. I would love to see Martial and Rashford either side of Ibra with Mhki at number 10 behind them. I know Martial hasn't been at his best but with Rashford on the other flank I feel with their pace and movement everyone will have more space and Martial will also benefit from not being the only pacey forward which means he often gets doubled up on making it very difficult for him to perform at his best.
 
There is something extra special about rashford, no idea whats going on with martial, but rashford not only tries to get the ball and do something he has a knack of running past players with such effortless brilliance, he really makes us quicker on the break. While its great having players like zlaten, rooney, mata, etc who like ball to feet, he stretches the game and the subs really made us quicker to breaking point

No question our starting 11 in the coming games must be

The game is quicker, and we have runners like mkh pogba and rashford to help valencia and shaw overlap, so rooney and zlaten have runners coming off them making all so much quicker, will we see this against city? thats the million dollar question
 
deserves to start the next game, say what you want about he shouldn't be starting every game, but if a player puts in a performance like that you have to show they will be rewarded!

But he's got way more than that to be fair.
 
Of course he should start the next game. His first chance of the season, and it he grabs it with both hands. What does it say if he doesn't start? After a relatively lackluster performance from more than one of the players in our forward line before he came on, it would be madness if impact like that isn't rewarded.
