Easy to criticise him for his misses tonight...

However, the difference compared to teammates tonight? Carried on grinding his way through, didn't let his mistakes phase him, that's what separates good players from great players. Not surprised Mourinho has faith in him, showed he is willing to work to the end.

Natural talent will only take you so far, there's a reason Ronaldo is considered (arguably) the best in the world, because he put the work in to compliment his natural ability.

Watched the game with my brothers, they were astonished by his fitness levels. Does he ever tire? He is so super fast but he keeps sprinting the entire match, even in extra time. He looked knackered in his face but then pulls out a huge sprint again, is he human?

It's ridiculous how much work he puts in and it's part of the reason he'll miss the odd chance because of fatigue when he's done a crazy amount of sprints...

One minute he's bent over with his hands on his knees and you think he's finished... but a short breather and he just carries on. He's makes me feel tired just watching...

It's ludicrous that he's only 19. Simply ludicrous.

I'd say he's living my dream but Gerrard retired before he could hit a 45 yard volley so hard that the ball and Gerrard's head flew into the top corner, in the 94th minute, in front of the Kop.

Think we need to go with him now. He's ready, I don't care about this oh he's young he's not ready. Tell that to Monaco with Mbappe.

Give Rashford a run of games upfront and he'll score.

Poor finishing today but playing really well today I think. He has quite good understanding of the game. As a striker and winger.
fatigue from playing 3 days ago means he was always going to be less sharp

He really put the cherry on the icing on the cake

It's the persistence that's so impressive, never stops looking for ways to be incisive and find a goal. I hope that won't be coached out of him if he becomes the main number 9 and is asked to play like a more conventional striker.

He's only going to get better which is the exciting thing for us united fans. He isn't just a one season wonder or just in good form, he has so much about his game as a striker and is so young.

If Zlatan is out, and Rashford starts, he has every chance of convincing Jose that he should be the main striker next season. If Zlatan doesn't extend, we may go for a lesser striker to back Rashford up. This could be his chance now to say he's ready.

His energy levels  I know hes "young" and all, but to keep going like that for us was quite something. So glad he got the winning goal too

Zlatan being out might be a blessing for him as he will play more up top, especially if we play more to his strengths of trying to exploit space behind defences thus pushing the line for whoever is number 10 to get into.

MOTM. I was even surprised he started today especially as wide attacker since he ran his bollock in Chelsea game. He ran madly today too.

Rashford even stole Martial's celebration.

So pleased for him. He didn't let the misses get him down and kept going for it throughout the match. His attitude is superb and I'm delighted he got the winner. Fire us into the final and win it now, son!

I hope we as fans stop oogling after other teams young fwds and realise we have a kid just as amazing as the likes of Dembélé or Mbappe or Dybala. He just needs to play. He's really come. to form at the right time

He's not on that level and probably never will be.

Though I'll freely admit that he'd score a hatful if he played in that Monaco side.

What I especially like about him is that he's not just some pacey tap in merchant. He's created a lot of chances too.

I don't think he's on the level of those players. But he certainly can be a Harry Kane type player for us.

But do I think he should be leading the line for us next season? No because we still need that deadly striker in front of goal. Fergie used to have four strikers. But as soon as Jose is linked with one people start crying.

What a talent, will be interesting to see him now more than ever as he'll get a run as a a CF.
He is getting his confidence back, which is great to see. The goal against Sunderland was very important in that respect. I also like the fact that he is creating chances and very involved.

My MOTM today.

To say Rashford is far off Dembele and Mbappe and he'll probably never reach their levels is very harsh on our lad. He's 19 and I'd definitely say he's as exciting as the French guys. Very happy for his goal tonight and I really believe in him.

Long may this form continue. Hope he really steps up in the face of Zlatan's injury now. We'll need him.

Perspective is always needed. He's a very talented footballer. But he's not at that level. I'd love him to be, but for me he'll come up short.

He's absolutely electric. Just something else.

Watching him right now feels like watching Ronaldo when he was starting to find his feet here. Opposition defenders know he's dangerous but they don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Appiah was actually having a really strong game but still couldn't cope.

Has he been even better in the last two games than he was last season? I reckon so.
