Can't believe those who said earlier here he's not progressing.

He's starting to look of his form again tearing it either on the wing or a striker.
The lack of patience with him during his patch were he was down on confidence was feckign embarrassing

Only plus point from tonight's game. In the last three games he's shown more threat than our entire attack combined.

Mourinho has a big decision this summer. He is so exciting when playing through the middle and the team functions better.

Ran his bollocks off all game, shame he missed a few easier chances but he did really well with his goal. So pleased for him.

Superior talent to Martial and it's not even that close imo. Much better mentality and effort too.

The thing he's starting to show me too that he's not a terrible winger as we thought he's. He looks great now on the flank and in any position forward.

How people can say Rashford hasn't progressed this season is beyond me. He plays like a much more mature and rounded player these days. His movement, shielding of the ball, link up play etc are all so much better this season. Credit to Jose and the coaches.

Even setting aside the winner, him and Valencia need wage bonuses for playing 210 minutes in about 4 days.

He deserves credit for putting the winner away after previously fluffing one or two chances. Didn't let his confidence desert him.

Excellent potential but nowhere near ready to be the main striker for the club yet.

Agree with the 2nd half of your post

But Martial can be even better, him and Jose need to kiss and make up and then we can have two of the most exciting talents up top

What a dude. Has to start the next game up front. Not just his finishing, but as soon as we had a striker making runs our game went up a level.

So glad for his winner.
Made wrong decisions on his 2 chances, wanted to score in the closer angle but took the goal perfectly.

He'll be a some player this lad.

His technique is so poor apparently.

This guy is 100 times the player welbeck is. I am not even accepting arguments against that

He's a star. Works like a dog on top of being a penetrative threat.

Tireless energy and effort tonight and looked a threat all game, the touch he took to set up the winning strike was class.

Rashford has been sensational the last few matches. If Zlatan's injury is serious, he has a chance to show Mourinho he can be our 1st choice striker for next season.

He has genuine world class potential. I can't believe some posters were comparing him to Welbeck a few weeks ago.

Great effort and running all game, but most impressive was showing that composure after such a tiring and frustrating game. A lot of players would have snatched at the ball as it fell their way.

That's my boy! A brilliantly taken goal. Once he sorts out his consistency he's going to be a helluva player.

What a player, and great mentality. Proper Manchester United player.

Wow. I thought he was poor and missed absolute sitters. If he hadn't had the goal - people would be slating him on here. Great energy though.

He would've been slated but he was still excellent.

Love you Rashford - god knows how important that goal was for the future of this club. Could have. Destroyed the club if we lost that game

I hope we as fans stop oogling after other teams young fwds and realise we have a kid just as amazing as the likes of Dembélé or Mbappe or Dybala. He just needs to play. He's really come. to form at the right time

Wow. I've had my doubts about him. Mainly, I never thought he was as good as people thought on here but I think I am fully on the Rashford train after tonight. His pace is blistering and if he can just refine his game a little we have some player on our hands.

He did. He would have got a lot of stick if we went out. Which would have been a load of ******. Blaming a kid for a tie we should have won comfortably.

Love Rashers. Love the way he kept going and didn't let his head drop.

On a side note, a question for those who saw him in the youth and/or reserve teams: was he always highly rated and expected to challenge for a first team place, or was it more a case of being in the right place at the right time?
