Blind and Shaw can rotate that position when fit, Rojo won't get a look in beyond that point.

Thought he was decent in this game. Of course, that's not entirely a good thing due to the level of competition, but still.

That free kick he gave away near the end pretty much sums him up.

Hope thats his last game for us in a long time. With Shaw and Blind back its time we rotated those two and binned Rojo.

Man Utd 4:1 Fenerbahce
He's here to make up the numbers and anything more is a bonus. As long as he's fit when needed I'm not complaining.

Would rather play Tuanzebe if we need a CB but I think he's an alright option there for games like this so all good.

He was bad but there are 5-6 players who were worse today. Also that pile driver towards the end must have stung Courtois' hand. There'd have been a circle jerk had Pogba done that

Another of Van Gaal's amazing transfer insights.

And to think some "experts" on Portugese football thought he was good

When he came on I thought, "he's gonna be shit", and then with his first touch he fecked up and chelsea almost scored but then after that I dunno, he wasn't "Rojo shit". Like he wasn't good or anything but he wasn't the usual Rojo shit.

He was far from being a problem yesterday. Did quite well providing width and put in a couple of good deliveries. Yes he's not the greatest player we have but he always seems to have a good attitude, I find the abuse he gets quite harsh to be honest!

I'm fairly certain at one point he threw a random cross into the area when we literally didn't have single player in the box.

I found it richly ironic that a player I decided ages ago wasn't good enough and was stealing a living at the club was arguably the only player in a United shirt to put in an acceptable performance (and actually play like he cared) in our most humiliating defeat of the season so far. Further evidence that the gods are laughing at us.

That is a problem throughout the team. I keep reading people saying drop these players, put these ones in, Mou should do this and that, why is he playing so and so. At the moment it feels like no matter what combination or who he puts in you just don't know if a particular player or players will perform or not. They all seem to be blowing hot or cold from game to game.

Only Marcos Rojo could turn what should of been a cross into a counter attack for the opposition

This has been a constant theme ever since Fergie retired (arguably began during his last two seasons in charge) A complete absence of senior pros, in their prime as footballers, who you can rely on to put in 7 or 8 out of 10 performances, week in, week out. I had hoped Mourinho would steady the ship, as he's the only manager we've had since Fergie who is demonstrably capable of winning the Premier League. Maybe he still will? Early days an' all. But yeah, we're so goddam flaky these days. An insight into life as an Arsenal fan over the last decade or so...
