Marco Reus

Never seen him play. Heard rave reviews though.

Bender, Leitner, Kagawa, Götze, Reus add Lewandowski to that and you have one hell of a team in the final third - nevermind the defence that involves Hummels, Subotic, Piszczek et Schmelzer.

Very good and exciting team. Still think now that Dortmund got Reus, Goetze might leave (and probably join those cnuts from Munich)

Well apparently Goetze said he'll be staying till 2013? They'll have a quality team next season..

He's no upgrade over the likes of Ando and Gibson. Only a Robson can put those players on the bench,

Time will tell, eh? Reus, just recently, said he wants to see out his contract at Mönchengladbach and look what happened today.

True, true - although not really fair to Gladbach's supporters, is it? And not a fine way, by no means.

48% - Borussia's Marco Reus has been directly involved in 48% of Gladbach’s goals this season (13 goals, 2 assists). Talent. #BVB #BMG

:smirk:

So in few words you think that this Reus is better then Ando or Gibson isn't it? Blasphemy...

Borussia Dortmund: Jürgen Klopp can bleed his master to start training
Start at BVB Klopp master must bleed

The offensive-missile (13 goals this season competitive game) can Gladbach leave for € 17.5 million uncommitted detachment, has decided against offers from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Arsenal. BVB he receives a five-year contract, will remain until 2017.

In winter holiday in Dubai Reus has made the fundamental decision - and selected his old love. The wing speedster has grown up at BVB, Caro and his girlfriend, his parents live in Dortmund. His heart has never ceased to beat black and yellow.

Dortmund boss Hans-Joachim Watzke to BILD.de: "For years we have achieved transfer surpluses for exactly such a situation. For Reus we were prepared to do something extraordinary. He is a boy Dortmund, and we bring him back now to the Borsigplatz. A great compliment to our manager Michael Zorc, this transfer has implemented the short term. "

Training starts on Tuesday at the Reus has Gladbach bosses informed of his decision. Manager Max Eberl has struggled until recently to its superstar, says: "We would have gone to extremes to keep Marco him a new contract offer submitted by 2016."

But it refused to Reus and chose his old - and new love!

The Reus transfer is probably not the only one leaving, must get over Gladbach: Reus' best buddy, his teammate Roman Neustaedter (23), is facing a move to Bayer Leverkusen. His contract expires in the summer.

Dunno who this lad is or where he plays but sign him up and play him in midfield

Surprised that Bayern didn't get him. It's rare that they miss out on somebody they are interested in, particularly a German.

Damn only £14.5m for him. That seems like a bargain. On the other hand if they can keep Götze past the summer, then they one heck of a team next year.

Is it unusual for Dortmund to pay that much? It has to raise the possibility that Goetze will be off to Bayern in the summer as they seemed set to get Reus, or it could be that Kagawa is off.

I would say it's pretty unusual for anyone in Germany to pay that much.

There has only ever been 9 players brought by German clubs over the €15 million mark. 7 of which were brought by Bayern.

Record transfer buy in Germany is Mario Gomez, Stuttgart to Bayern for €30 mil. Roughly £26 million. If i remember correctly, they were very reluctant to pay that. Most expensive midfielder in Germany are Ribery €25 mil, Robben €24 and Gustavo €17 mil.

For Dortmund, there records buys were €25 mil, €14.5 and €12.5. For Amoroso, Rosisky, and Koller respectively. All around 2000-2002.

So Reus going to Dortmond in summer pretty much guarantees Goetze will be going somewhere.

Or no? Can Dortmund sign Reus and keep Goetze too?

Marco Reus we hardly got to stalk you.

Would be exciting if Goetze stays, Lewandowski has been scoring at a nice clip, add in Kagawa and Reus and that's a brilliant front 4.
