He was really good at Leipzig so I'm assuming Ragnick wanted him badly to play as our #8 last year in a 4-2-2-2.
Not sure he can do the Eriksen passing from deep, but he can run as much and get into the left half space well. Bruno maybe a shade deeper and on the right and more of a 4-3-3 in possession I'd guess, with Casemiro central. Not sure if he'll play as the DM when Casemiro is gone. My guess is we'll try him and Fred together but might be a bit lacking in power and deep passing.
Great move, overall. We retain flexibility to get whichever of De Jong/Caicedo/Rice/Enzo/Bellingham is gettable (or a 6th under-25 player who emerges in the next 4 months as being on that level, like whoever looks the best from Mac Allister, Kone, Lavia, Frattesi, Onana, Merino, Zubimendi, Koopmeiners, a South American I've never seen play or the backup cheap options of Tielemans, Neves).
