We seem to have a closer relationship with Chelsea in terms of players coming in (and occassionally going-Sparky, Obi-Mikel) than any of our other big rivals.

Everytime I've watched him he looks so lazy when defending, no urgency in how he moves. But I know for Brighton his tackles/recoveries were pretty good. Also, his passes completed in the final third was high for a full back in 21/22. Obviously his form at was better then compared to Chelsea so we should hope Ten Hag can get a similar level out of him. And at least it's a loan (in before we sign him next year now)

Probably the best of the bad options we were going for. Just really needs a good wash to get the Chelsea stink off him, try and get him back to the player he looked at Brighton.

I'm usually pretty pessimistic but I actually think this could end up being a pretty shrewd move. He was excellent for Brighton.
He was shocking last season. But, of all the options seemingly on the table, he's probably my most preferred (or least unwanted).

Kinda. They were both were a bit underwhelming overall though. Not flops but hardly successes in my opinion.
