Yeah. I do hate the formation but the players need to take some blame for the poor performances too.Playing Rooney in midfield gives you a lot of energy and a player that can run miles. He will track back and get into a defensive position.
He can burst forward from his deep position and find himself with lots of free space in front of their defenders.
But.. his creativity is limited and not as good as you perhaps would've liked.
