Manchester United vs Real Madrid (Thu 27th July, 01:30 UK time)

This fecking team is still so lethargic when moving the ball.....struggling to move up field while RM attack with ease.

someone tell AWB to stay wide and stop coming into the middle of the pitch

Madrid's midfield is great .. and they are playing a diamond.

Been quite impressed by our settup and ball retention overall, that injury just sucker punched us early on and then he’s clearly offside.

Problem there is that his manager tells him to come into the middle of the pitch.

The defence looks very fragile today. Struggling pretty consistently anytime Real play a long ball

Casemiro's passing has been...questionable.

Real Madrid not doing much really, just kicking ball over and hoping for counters basically, and being immune to clear offsides helps them also.

The issue is that neither Casemiro nor Eriksen have the legs to track Madrid's runs into the box. Mainoo would be better, but in fairness it's not a strength of his either.

We should really go to a midfield 3.

It’s onside. Bellingham is onside. Great call by the linesman.

can't come into the middle of the pitch when a team is playing a diamond midfield...the space is out wide and stretches that diamond

When did Rudiger stop being error prone? He looks class any time I see him play these days (which isn't too often admittedly)

Worried about Eriksen. He never looked sharp enough after the injury last season, and he still doesn't in the pre-season :( He was phenomenal the first half of last season, though

Still think Bruno on the right is a terrible idea.
It is, he's totally wasted there. If anything it should me Mount there and Bruno playing on the center. But this is what this games are for trying out so we dont feck up on official ones.

Whoever keeps whistling when we’re through on goal should be banned for life.
