Dortmund somehow managed to score three goals while doing feck all literally whole game and we miss all these chances, same old.
 
Well it's a good thing we have such an extended preseason schedule because our would-be first XI don't really look match sharp
 
We’re in for a rough start to the season I feel, defensive still not ready for this system and attack is lacking.

Would be first 11 looks good except Rashford for me. Giving the ball away cheaply, all attacks dying with him. Has done this in other games too.

Rest all look decent. Played well.
 
What worries me the most is that our B-side in the first half completely controlled Dortmund for 42 minutes - our regular players haven't looked anywhere near that in control of the game.
 
Our general play is looking pretty good, but as always our finishing is league 2 standard. And today we also absolutely suck defensively
 
The amount of times we've gone long in this half has been very weird. 1st half was a much better team performance, this half if we stopped just trying for the killer ball wherever in the pitch we were it would've been better. Casemiro pretty woeful

It's surprising he went for the second xi today. Our first xi barely got any playing time so far.
 
Bruno and Casemiro can't stop hoofing the ball and Mount is barely in the game. No wonder the first half midfield looked better. They actually tried passing it around.
 
Enjoyable game. Nice friendly vibe with some decent football oj display as always from Dortmund.

Absolute shite. We don't look ready for the season at the moment.
 
Weird stadium. They have a bar in the tunnel where the teams line up before coming onto the pitch.
 
The defending has been calamitous for each goal. Worrying, pre season or not especially when you add our usual complete inability to take chances in or around the box.

We lack ideas and have too many greedy, head down players. Think Hojlund will have his work cut out trying to get a decent pass from Antony, Sancho and especially Rashford who so far has dropped a solid 2/10 this tour. As long as he gets his head out of his arse for Wolves. EtH is absolutely seething!

Think we have a long season ahead if as I expect, Liverpool and Chelsea will be back in the top 4.
 
Rashford is playing like someone who doesn’t think his starting position is under threat, very loose performance
 
I think we have broadly looked average to poor this pre-season. Arsenal game aside of course.
