Manchester United vs. Chelsea

Neither have I tbh.

It just looked a bit suss that he suddenly became the worlds greatest Chav right around the time the sugar daddy arrived...

Thing is, Chelsea have plenty of real supporters and plastic ones as well. So do we. It's not as if the lad has been a grown man who suddenly found hidden love for Chelsea. So I will give him the benefit of the doubt because a similar accusation could be made at many here - including myself I suppose. People become true supporters of successful clubs as well.

I'm tired of waiting for this. My nails are non-existent, I was thinking about it all day yesterday and I'll be thinking about it all of the journey up today. Just win it lads, we've bettered Chelsea 4 times this season and somehow only come away with 3 wins.

We're at OT, we're unbeaten at home all season, we have a rested side, we should win this. Come on.

I'm fully convinced we will lose today. I was fully convinced last week we would win. Not sure if that's a good or bad omen.

Just watching Sky Sports 1

Once again, the presenter asking Ray Wilkins and Jamie Redknapp about the game.... they don't even give Manchester United a mention, its all about how Chelsea can win the game, and how United will be worried.

F*ck Off. We are 3 points clear of Chelsea, we have been the better team, we are the home side, even if we lose we could recoup the goal difference against two of the poorest teams in the league.

Typical Londoners with their totally biased views

All that really tells us is that you're generally just always wrong, Richter.

Like, tell us something we don't know, am I right.

I didn't think I was nervous till I read this and realised my nails are shreds!! Must have done this yesteday as they were fine on Friday!!

I usually get nervous before big games, for the simple reason that I cannot do anything to influence it. It's different if you are a player going out there and it's in your hands but watching somebody else do it is torture as you're helpless.

I have to say though - we're amazing at home, Chelsea are not the force they were in past seasons, we are rested since last weekend, we are in good form, I genuinely think we are a better team than them, and if we win this it's pretty much all over. I'm quietly confident today.

I'd say most want Chelsea to win today to keep it interesting the last two games, with both teams level on points then. It's been all about Chelsea the last 6 years unfortunately. More often than enough, they're made favourites for the league the beginning of each season, regardless of whether we've won it the previous one or not.

feck this, let's get the win today and feck the lot of them up.

I give you that one Danish cnut;)

I've got a bad feeling about this. Someone slap me and call me a dick!

We're gunna win, we've got too.

Exactly...we are consistently the better team against the Chavs but don't always get the result.

When was the last time you could say that the Chavs truly were the better team against us yet came away with nothing?

Having said that even if they batter us today & we sneaked a 1-0 that would do, but I can not believe in my worst nightmares that we will get battered today. I'm convinced we'll be the better side whatever the result...

They're a good team, but we're better...

Is that Mike Dean at 1:05?

In the past week, I've been nervous. I've been negative at times. But feck all that right out the window. Today is the day we can end this, and get our 19th title. We can't feck it up like last season where we let Chelsea in the back door.

COME ON UNITED

OptaJoe everytime #mufc have won PL on last day they have won every cup final afterwards... fa cup '96 '99. CL '99 '08

One of the biggest game in United's history surely ?

Win this one and No.19 is ours and history is re-written.

My nails have already been all but chewed off.

Yawn. 100% sure we will win. Not nervous at all.

Nowhere near the biggest game in United history.

Let's not get silly here. Becoming the side who has won more league titles than any other is a fantastic landmark but it isn't a quantifiable achievement, as such. Certainly it doesn't 're-write' our history, indicating that we have been anything other than the dominant force in English football for twenty-years.

What displeases me is the suggestion of consequence that should we fail to win the 19th title that it puts the achievements of the side in the past into a shadowed context.

Whilst we of course must be very proud of the achievement, we should not play into this belief that not doing so would somehow undermine, mar or lessen what the club has already achieved.

My prediction

O'shea.........Rio....................Vidic...........Evra

Valencia.........Carrick......Giggs..................Park

What a predictable post.

Okay my fault.

This is it, the biggest game in our history. Without this, nothing else matters. We'll finally knock that club who haven't been anywhere near winning the league in 20 years, off their fecking perch, just as Sir Alex said many years ago, in the past tense.

First league title in 26 years, 1994 double winning side, 1999, 2008, 1968...without today all this means nothing..

...better?

I think that's the team most people expect. Makes you think if Ferguson will change it around perhaps for that reason. It'll certainly be the team Chelsea will be expecting to play.

I think you have it spot on there, I reckon it this is the team. The only possible difference being Rafael for O'Shea, but Fergie likes to add height to his teams when coming up against Chelsea

I don't think I've been this nervy about a match since Wigan at the JJB in May 08 :nervous:

Yeah, certainly about a league match, I'd agree. I was quite confident vs Wigan from what I remember, but that may be retrospective adjustment.

Ok, so is it O'Shea or one of the twins today?

I'd like to have da Silva today.
