Mata has been involved, because he's been playing like a six year old who can't stick to a position and just chases the ball around the pitch. His lack of a position (which I'm guessing is down to the instructions he's getting) totally ruins the possibilities for the rest of the team. It's easy to double mark Rashford when you don't have to worry about one third of the pitch, and then everyone says that Rashford's been poor/isolated/what have you on the left wing.

It’s really not difficult to tell why we don’t look anywhere near as effective here. With Rashford up top and Lingard behind we press every single one of their players from the front. With Lukaku there we just don’t.

Absolutely dreadful first half. Mata invisible and doesn't provide anything at all. Rashford is having a bad game, Pogba also far from his best. Shaw looked very good though, the only positive.

Well Pogba and Rashford don't look like they will be mentioned for MOTM. Jones and Lindelöf been solid - everyone else fairly average. This is the kind of game where we either step up the pace just a Little bit and win comfortably - or we get that frustrating draw.
