Good win in the end... Second half wasn't amazing but it was a hell of a lot better. First half arguably worst half I've seen from us in a long, long time. Southampton drew at home which is huge for us as well. In third, 2 clear of Arsenal in 5th, 1 ahead of Southampton, 4 ahead of Spurs, 5 in front of Liverpool. Need to improve though.

Wank performance but we got the win. I'm just worried that our results will get found out against some of the better teams.

Herrera with another good performance but what does that matter?

OT - Love the coverage the Americans get, one game finishes they switch for the last 10 mins of another

3 points in the bag and encouraging to see us make OT more of a fortress this season.

Not the best performance ever but we are getting to that period where it doesn't matter how you win anymore. Its how many points you pick up. At this point I could give a toss if we put Fellaini upfront and hoofed it for the rest of the season as long as we get top 4. We can sort out the pretty football over the summer and what not.

ADM was MoM for me. Full of running and our most dangerous player by far. I thought the introduction of Herrera improved our passing a lot and I believe it was Herrera who put ADM through on the break at least twice.

Hopefully no long term injuries to Jones and Blind. Having said that, Smalling was immense today. He has really come to the fore after that red card against citeh.

Right - 3 points - job done. United really need to get themselves in order. Have to do much much better.

Much much better second half. Smalling improved defensively and post 60 minutes when Burnley ran out of legs to press, our death by possession football did the job.

Moyesesque. Regression on a grand scale. Hopefully there's somebody with enough balls to sit the big stubborn orange bollox down and tell him enough is enough. I will weep salty tears of despair if we start with RVP and Falcao up front next time out.

Kevin was not our Friend today!

As I predicted we scored 3 goals but in no way walked the game.

Oh and I'm sad for Falcao.

Don't mind Jones injured or Evans for that matter:D But will miss Blind. As long as Herrera gets a chance though...

Who would've thought that Smalling would score 2 goals(both in the 1st half!) after he came on?! Great match by him, and I have to say it got better when Herrera came on aswell. Blind started very slow imo. Anyways really happy with the result, not that happy with the performance, even though it got better in the 2nd. Falcao didn't score in this match either, but he got one assist at least!

We won but if we do not shape up and fast we will miss out on the top 4. It's quite worrying our play style.

Evans shouldn't see the pitch in a premier Manchester United 11. He has lost a step and his passing isn't good enough.

Hopefully we will b play a 442 from now on.

LVG didn't look happy going back to the changing room.

Yeah probably because he has to concede that 433/4231 is the best formation for us and the we did play better in the second half because of it and obviously Herrera did help us control the midfield a little better

Would like to see Di Maria out wide more often rather than in the middle it's evident he's much more dangerous out there!

Only managed to catch the second half, but it seems like Smalling really saved our butts from another embarrassing result.

Di Maria looked decent in the second half, seems like he's finally managing to get to grips with the Premier League style of play. Was inventive as well as industrious.

oh, I missed the memo. We went from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 diamond is the best and now it's the 4-3-3 and the 4-2-3-1?

Sorry did I spoil your plan. I was just bringing some positivity to the thread that we'd still win.

Or we'll win playing fantastic football and we can all enjoy it without people trying to paint themselves as a wise LvG disciple. And laughing at people who have valid concerns.

Nah yours is more likely to be fair
I'm in general pretty positive about the state of the club right now.
