This is the thing though, play a system where you're not relying on Pereira as a main source of creativity, just focusing on his work-rate & crossing ability and he would be fine.

The 4231 system is the problem, when we haven't got a good enough 10 to function properly. Playing Pereira/Mata/Lingard as 10 is just hanging them out to dry at this point.

I don't think Andreas deserves a starting spot currently. I accept people think he's being played out of position but I think his performance levels have been poor with very basic things. Unacceptable no matter how hard you work.
