The best we could put up given the injury situation. We have had the worst luck this season. It is not fair.
Hard to see us getting anything from the game with his line-up.
As long as he is not in the midfield it should be fine. He would help us holding the ball in their half when we hoof it to release pressure of the defense and the midfield. Not a bad idea to have him there.

Depends on the referee really, Ramos and Pepe were all albows against BVB last year and referee couldn't give two fecks about it. IIRC Ribery should've been sent off for an intentional elbow in the final and nothing happened too.

We can only blame injury/suspension for that. They were impressive in the Bernabèu 12 months ago against Ronaldo/Di Maria et al. so we have to hope they have another of those nights.

Yup, purely for the energy of his, Giggs would do the passing. In the current set up we're lacking this energy, running or whatever from our midfield.
Not like Carrick has been remotely good this season anyway.

I can't complain at Moyes for the line-up then...
Against all logic I think we'll somehow get a good result tonight.
At the moment he's better coming from the bench than starting games, certainly games of this magnitude. Right call for me.
It was the the team I expected.
If the system makes a player look poor then I'll say that, but I'm happy to admit when someone just has a bad game too. I don't hate Moyes enough to think he's the sole blame for everything that's wrong with us but I won't sugarcoat his deficiencies either.
If it's anything less than 2 goals between us it will be a result in my eyes.
