Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Arteta does play. Was hoping he'd be out as he's the one who's really held it together for them. Definitely gone under the radar because of Ramsey's goals.

That's a good lineup we're facing, please bring them back to earth United!

Fabio should be on the bench instead of Giggs.

Yes Valencia and Jones can play RB if Smalling has a problem.

But who plays LB if Evra is injured after 5 minutes?

Exactly, which is why Fabio should always be on the bench, if not playing that is, seeing that he can play in so many positions. Evans can be shifted to LB though, and Evra injured is as less of a chance than me scoring with a super model.

Kagawa will be ace today.

People surely aren't expecting adnan to start in such a big and high pressured game as this. He's still a kid and moyes is managing him well. We don't want to burn him out later in his career ala michael owen.

How many times has Nani played since he signed that 5 year contract?

Well I guess if we want to close out the game, we won't make any subs then. 5 game changes and fellaini on the bench

No Rafael/Nani - the right hand side would be a bore. The fireworks would be from Evra's side of the pitch. Gibbs is quick so i expect zero threat from Valencia who is only good when facing slow fullbacks. He lacks the trickery to beat fast fullbacks.

Team selection - 7/10, Moyes could have named a stronger team.

I personally think Januzaj deserved the start but I am not that bothered. Kagawa's still a good player.

More surprised Phil Jones is starting with Carrick over Cleverley and Fellaini and that has not raised much concern. I like Jones as a footballer but his future for the club is going to be as a centre back. I never fancy him in a central midfield with Carrick.

Let's get rattled right into these cnuts from the start. They don't like it up 'em.

Why didn't we play Nani instead of Valencia is completely beyond me. Nani ate this lot alive time and again. Probably his favorite opponent.

Haven't watched United much/at all this year, or any football for that matter. What's the story with Fellaini? Belgian bloke with boisterous hair, but why isn't he starting in what's clearly a big game? Serious question.

Maybe Jones to do a "special" job on Ozil ?

He just isn't good enough. It really is that simple.

Because he's not good enough to play for Manchester United.

Exactly. You have to manage these youngsters properly and protect them. He's a brilliant option to have on the bench.

Still finding his feet mate. He hasn't lit up the stage yet with any performance thus far, but his last game was an improvement.

And why's that, is he playing at the same level he was at Everton and it just happens to be that he was never that good to begin with, or has he dropped off somewhat?

Not a bad selection at all. We have some very decent options to change the game if we need to. A lot's been said about Kagawa and we're trusting him again because Arsenal's style of football will suit his ability. We just need to get enough movement and running from our attacking players. Kagawa and Valencia simply must be positive and get in behind their defence.

He was our player of the month for October. Think it's harsh to drop one of your best players of the season in a big game just because he isn't old enough yet apparently.
Was it busby who said if you're good enough, you're old enough? Some people seem to have forgotten that.

Come on, that's obvious? Valencia adds more defensively.

He's played a lot over the past month.
Yeah, he just didn't play as well as he can, doesn't deserve to start when we have other options and Valencia has been playing decent (nani was really bad and I'm one of his biggest fans probably).

I'll be amazed if we get anything down our right side, or if they get anything either. To the left!

Simply asking the question, mate. I'd have liked to see him start today but overall I've no complaints with the lineup.
