Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Can see every single one of us drop points really. Cardiff is a hard place to go to, Southampton is brilliant this season, Chelsea away to West ham is always a tough game for them, merseyside derby and then City against Spurs, who are shite going forward but solid defensively. Think there are plenty of upsets that could happen though.

we wont drop points. we Want to be top. You can see it in the eyes of the players. The manager wants it. the supporters want it.

Main difference is the belief is back.

Hope so. We could look back at the two Januzaj goals against Sunderland and the Stoke near-miss as the turning point. I think we'd have struggled to recover had we lost one of those games.

He looked slow against a tired Arsenal team. He also looked lost. Basically he looked as bad as i worried he would.

Don't be daft, he positioned himself well and broke up their play a couple of times.

On top of that, while it might be an eye rolling moment to see us lug a long ball up to him, it was a tactic that forced them to drop a couple of players back each time we got the ball, in fear he'd knock the ball down for someone. It might have Stoke like overtones to the tactic but it gave them something to think about at a time they really wanted to throw men forward.

reading around the forum, can't believe the amount of negatives.

We just limited the previously free scoring Arsenal team, comfortably top of the league to a couple of pee roller scuffed efforts!
Was a marvellous game plan, and worked well.

I'm no fan of his but he did a decent job in a short cameo. Came on to win balls lumped up to him and did that almost 100% successfully, which was pretty impressive. He and Rooney prevented us from literally sitting in our box for the last ten minutes.

Might be a bit late to the party but I just noticed Savage's analysis on the BBC website. Someone confirm for me that it's a load of hilarious bollocks. "Man United wasted what little possession they had against Arsenal"?

saw that article and apart from bringing Arsenal's stomach bug issue it was ok, dull, shallow, lack insight but ok
