Manchester United v Everton

I know I'm sat at home, I can't attend games at the moment due to Uni work...but our crowd are absolutely fecking pathetic! Nervous, getting on the teams back after the first 2 minutes...feck off. They may as well not be there because that is doing more harm than good.

"Phillip Neville, the Everton captain"

What's happened to the Manchester United I used to love?

I enjoy watching other football games more than ours these days. All we do is play in slow fecking motion every single week whilst all of our players just stand still.

Obviously the incentive of winning the trophy which is the entire point of a majority of games you play all year, isn't enough to be worth getting out of bed or acting like you even have a purpose for if you're a United player these days.

City deserve the title more than this lot, and even if we do win it I fecking hope we throw the younger players in next year and start playing with some kind of oomph again. We're like the football version of an episode of Eastenders. People will be throwing themselves out of buildings just to avoid watching the second half.

Not at his best but clearly he has been our most dangerous and Rooney has got into it as well.

That's because he has the rare ability to create something when we look hopeless, and today his cross has brought us back into the game.

I just think we need to get Rooney to drop a but deeper to help carrick and scholes who are outnumbered. Also we could do with trying to get the supply to Valencia better as he's struggling atm because he keeps getting forced inside. We've got enough here to be them, we just need to turn up the pace a bit. Shame Valencia can't play on the left because if we stuck nani against distin I could see him getting a second yellow.

Valencia didnt go running into Distin. Distin ran into Val.

You've obviously seen something different from me then. The two players collided and one stumbled over. If we're giving that then we might as well give free-kicks for any sort of contact whatsoever.

Do you watch the same game as everyone else?

Are you following me or what? Every time I make a post you're there to troll the shit out of me.

We've converted our only real chance; in the middle of the first half the stats showed the ball spent twice as much time in our half as in theirs so... yeah, we can't really get the better of them in any area. Apart from Nani beating Hibbert consistently.

I hate to see United reacting to a goal, why not take the game ourselves and put a more convincing display ? The players in the starting are more than capable of doing a lot much better

Bunch of fecker shits this team.....

Do we have a gif if Fergie v the officials yet? I missed it :(

That long ball by Carrick is easily the best pass in the game, that's why ppl are saying Carrick is doing ok...

The only thing we need now is for Tony V to get a bit more involved, Nanners has been great, I mean I was calculating when he'd cross because the first 2 times he's beaten the defender he's going for shooting, then the next 2 he whipped in crosses... So I'm expecting him to shoot again

Anyway, I think we need to be aware of an Everton Counter, we can't let Pienaar get too much of the ball and we need to stick closer to Jelavic, he's off the ball movement has been very good.

Hope we nail this !

I think we need to go all inception on our players and place the idea in their mind that we're a goal down again. Maybe we won't be casual then.

That's what I saw too, Distin was stronger and that's all there is to it. Not a foul.

He's been putting in great crosses, a few good shots, and beating his man for fun. He's been very good.

We need to show some urgency. We only do when we're a goal behind. Bloody frustrating.

This is a ridiculous exaggerration and it's quite embarrassing to be frank. Yes, our football hasn't always been great but on the whole it has been quite good this season.

It reeks of someone who's ignorant to the rest of the footballing world. Seriously, go watch some Scottish football and then come back and tell me that this is dire football that would make you want to throw yourself out of a window.

I hope young comes on and dives to win the penalty and that way the referee will get abused.

Stuart Baxter just told a great story about Rooney..

When he was 16 years old he was with the U19 national team, and the day before the game he refused to leave the training pitch and practised his crossing. So Glen Johnson, who was captain, told him to get on the team bus, to which Rooney replied: You go back to the hotel without me; while you sleep, Rooney works.

Draw or loss won't make a difference for next week. We need to go 100% for the win in the 2nd half.

I don't like the way we need to be shocked into action. We started this game so slow with no urgency and Everton took advantage of that. We're the ones playing for the title so we should be setting the pace and going for those 3 points.

We really need to take control from here on and put them to the sword.

Scholes sometimes doesn't find the pass out wide anywhere near quick enough and it slows us down, despite his obvious control of whats going on.

FAO everyone in this thread

We'll win.

We play better when the opposition sit back and let us come at them, anytime a team try close us down we struggle.
