The only positive is that if it's Michael Keane it means we are either signing a defender or we are dropping the 352. Would be short of cover.

Rojo, Shaw, Di maria, Herrera, Blind and Falcao. That's a big enough change for any side..

But Vidal or another CM would not be going overboard :)....Liverpool brought in 9 players....

If you'd told me after the Everton match last year that a few months later we would have Falcao and Di Maria and LvG in charge I'd have had you sectioned.

The rumour hasn´t picked up but i wouldn´t be surprised if it happened due to the current BFF status between Woodward and Jorge Mendes. I don´t think Moutinho will stay at Mónaco much longer.

Falcao in a second starting XI? First time for everything I guess. He is significantly better than Rooney at being the no. 9.

Well he will be 5th choice CM for a role that will have two spots in the Starting line up. That makes him backup for backup. We can't expect to sign any player who will be ok with that role. I don't see any youth player coming through to take that spot. Fletcher's presence might be good for the dressing room, he will not be needed to play too much either. Hence he fits the bill for that role.

Rooney Vs Falcao:
We love writing Rooney off don't we? He has played well and scored for us. He is the captain too. I believe if we have one spot for Rooney and Falcao, Rooney will be first choice.

I doubt very much whether Fletcher will be offered a new playing contract in the summer.
