Manchester United POTY 17/18 | PPotY + SMBPotY: De Gea, MPotY: McTominay | The two Tony's smile

Apparently Carrick's wife also had spinal surgery recently, that takes a toll on appearances.

I hope this dream of making a decent Manutd player out of an average United youngster will come true for him, couldn't give McTominay more motivation, now over the summer and on it is really time to put some unreal work and make impossible happen..

Very Negative.. the fact you have Rashford as your lowest rated player this season suggests you don't have a clue about the potential of young footballers.

I must say Mourinho has gone up a bit more in my estimation after awarding McTominay. In my opinion it shows that he is committed to us and is trying his best to become ingrained in the club and it's traditions (producing youth players).

I think she looks great.

As do I. She’s being compared to glammed up wags in their mid 20s. She’s a mid thirties mum of two and if you saw her on the street you’d look three times.

Is it that bad that I actually search for Smalling's wife photos firstly in each of these events ? :D

De Gea will most likely get it, but I voted for Lukaku for POTY.

By no means has he been fantastic, but for him to score 30 plus goals in his first season is really good, and with a more settled team and quality around him, I'm hoping he can better that next season.

??

I'm a little bit surprised that Jose didn't announce his award was going to the entire team.

Except Shaw.

DDG won the Sir Matts Busby Fans Players of the Year award 4 times in 5 years.

Lets not lie, he'd be happy exchanging all those for 4 CLs in 5 years for Real Madrid.

He'd be giving this a thought especially after tonight's CL result!

Do you lads ever not have negative thoughts? Give it a rest.

Fair play to De Gea, absolute class this season as per. Great to see McTominay getting recognition for an excellent season.

Of course. But for feck sake he’s a United player, not a Madrid one so give it a rest.

That's mean but I think it's the Farrah Fawcett hair doesn't favour her.
I was genuinely asking. I really intend to be mean or shame her, like I've been accused of.

Mourinho gifts Michael Carrick with First Team Coach Jersey, a whistle and medicines for headache. Class

DDG definitely deserves it. However, I think we would've still finished top 4 without him. In previous years when he has won it, we would've been considerably lower had he not been in our team.

Well done to our Dave! He more than deserves it. Consistently pulling out very good performances.

hoooo, the fact that you looked at my profile to "find something" on me says something about you, I don't even know how I rated but I guess I must have submitted rating barely 4 times or so. so these ratings can be easily misleading, and I think I watched Rashford and McTominay for the U18s, U21s and U23 respectively enough to back my judgement..

Rashford has raw skills to be a great player for us, whereas McTominay will be lucky to make it in the premier league if he leaves us, he's just Mourinho's boy because of the height and attitude and I don't deny if he works extremely hard and has a bit of luck with manager pushing him into the first team, he might have a role in the team long term, but there are many more talented players which should be given the chance, we will see. And my comment wasn't meant entirely negatively, there was a real hope to be proved wrong but a bit of a dig at Mourinho with his stuborness but fair play. He's done everything he could so far to help McTominay in his progress.

For instance if a player like B.Pearson got as many chances and as massive backing from the manager, I am sure he would stand a big chance to make it here. McTominay going to League1 and Championship would probably have a similar career to someone like Scott Wooton.

I love de gea and its a very deserved award

But is time that our attacking players win that award for once if you know what i mean

Scott McTominay is essentially Father Jack in the wheelchair on that episode of Father Ted where Ted is controlling him with the fake hands. Brilliant gesture from Jose, but he might as well have given himself the award.

United actually managed to sell a sponsorship for the main award too, the commercial reach of this club is incredible

Yeah, I meant to say I didn't intend to be mean or shaming.
Try to ask a better question next time then? How about simple " Who is with Carrick, there?"? You would be in serious trouble if you're asking question like you did in some places in real life, believe it or not.

Edit: Nice touch form the club about Carrick
