Manchester United Kits 2018/2019

The pink authentic kit is amazing. It’s getting compliments non stop.

I turned quite the few heads on my way over here!

(Just kidding, I think the pink strip is great)

Whenever I see them playing in the pink kit, I think of that Pulp Fiction scene.

"What do they look like, Jimmy?" (eyeing Pogba and Fellaini)
"Dorks. They look like dorks."

And you like Pulp Fiction appear to be stuck in the early 90s.

The psychology behind color in kits is a well researched subject. This washed out kit is about smooth sailing, but in sports the intrinsic human need is rough waters - strong colors providing drama, energy, aggression. Red, white and red, red and blue, purple and white, etc.

I absolutely despise the pink kit. We need the red one for home matches, a white/gray one for away matches, and an all black kit for the alternate. Keep them simple and based on traditional team kit colors.

Completely agree. I really can't imagine anything worse than the pink shirt. The more traditional the better for me.

Since when has gray been traditional? We've had two awful kits in that colour in 140 years, and hopefully will never have one again.

Personally, I don't mind a little experimentation with colour on third kits every now and then, but I would agree that we should primarily stick to white, blue and black for away colours.

Away kits are never "traditional colors". Also the grey kit we had was one of the worst we had in history. Truly ugly kit and hopefully we won't have grey kits ever again.

In the 60s, we were in all-white with red collar and cuffs with red socks. In the early 70s, were wore yellow and blue like the old Arsenal and Everton away kits. So yes, no real tradition there. I do thonk playing in black shorts at home does go against tradition and should be binned in favour of white shorts as soon as possible.

Yeah except the pink kit... Don't know why anyone would buy any of the kits. Going to be another trophy less excuse filled season of shiteness.

Came across something that got my mind wandering, perhaps I could have just been doing the old 2+2 and getting 5. I shall share nonetheless.

I happened to see there is already leaks coming out for 19/20 kits, crazy we're not even halfway through the season mind you. Nothing United related, but the supposed leaked Juve home kit design intrigued me.

Kit manufacturers are known for using templates across a number of teams, this could be a unique design for Juve right enough, but what if United got this template too. Could it happen?

EDIT!

Feck, forgot I don't have the privilege of posting images yet. The kit is in the link anyway.

We already had the half/half design in 16/17. Granted it was half bright red and half dark red but still.

Would love another green/yellow kit.

Guys, you're being too harsh.

It's a beautiful designed smart and neat kit, nice black colour texture and all the key symbols are finally placed centrally but neatly. The collar is also nice.

We just need to wash the yellow dirts off..
*footyheadlines is using a terrible pic, they should've wash it first before snapping a pic of it..
