Manchester United Kits 2018/2019

Whoever changed us back to the white shorts deserves a shout as well.

Or had that happened earlier in the season.

I thought the white shorts + white socks and the home shirt looked pretty cringe. The way the black of the shirt fades in and then all of a sudden white shorts, it looks so strange.

DW Sports are selling all three of the adult jerseys at £35 just now, shorts are £20.

Does anyone know where I can get the cup style font printed on the authentic player-fit shirt? Been wanting Martial 11 in cup style on the authentic home kit for ages.

Champions league lettering? Then it’s from the official store.

I thought the megastore doesn't have the player issue shirts.

They don't. I had to buy my authentic home shirt from another site and bring it to the megastore for the printing unfortunately.

Also, some 'leaked' info on next seasons kits since I found this thread.

Away kit is supposed to be beige. Beige.

Third kit will be black with red and grey details/prints.

The black on the Home shirt is awful, hopefully the home kit goes back to Red & white for next season.

I don’t mind either of the other kits, overall would prefer the away kit being white

No sign of 19/20 design yet?

I'd say they are going to go back to a classic look. I certainly hope they do.

Footyheadlines reckon away kit will be beige and third kit will be black with grey accents so more experimenting by Adidas I guess. Nothing on the home kit yet.

I swear Adidas keeps home and away simple and only makes a weird experimental third kit for every other team. I'm not sure why they think they need to jazzy it up for every single one of ours.

Hopefully next year's doesn't look like a training top that the kitman put out on matchday by mistske

A red shirt with a nice white collar would be perfect.

Just a kit that looks cool with white socks on European nights. That's all we need.

Arsenal kits look really good. If we had our late 80’s, early 90’s kits, they’d be best selling shirts ever...

Anything apart from what we've got now.

Honestly one of the worst home kits I can remember.

How are they even retro? Look nothing like any United shirt I've seen. Adidas have been crap lately, very disappointing.

They are using the Real Madrid template from circa 2000 and releasing kits for all their big teams in Europe. The RM one is ok. The Bayern one is pretty awful.

After the 80s shirt, the 07/09 shirt, the crap rugby collar shirt, and the terrible current home shirt, I'm hoping for just a plain shirt with maybe a real collar but at least with some white in it.

This.

The only two I can think of that are worse are the Rooney debut season one and black v kit that Owen scored the winner against City in.

Eh, the one with the badge in the middle was class. Agree on the 2010 one

Does anyone know if there is a difference in quality between the player issue jerseys that the players wear in games and the retail authentics being sold for 110£ in shops?

The player issue shirts have the sizing in numbers like below:

Size 4 = Small
Size 5 = Small/Medium
Size 6 = Medium
Size 7 = Medium/Large
Size 8 = Large
Size 9: Large/XL
Size 10: XL

I have checked the following information of the current seasons jerseys:

The player issue shirts and the retail authentics are made in the same country and are of the same material as well.

Has anyone compared the jerseys to see if there are an visible or quality differences between the two?

As of now, I am assuming the only difference is that the sizing is marked in numbers on the player issue jerseys.

Would appreciate if someone who maybe knows more than I could set the record straight :-)

Perhaps someone owns both a retail authentic and player issue jersey?

Thanks alot in advance for advice!

I deal with player issue shirts a fair bit at work, and as far as I can see, they are the exact same garment as the Adidas Authentics.

Thank very much for the reply, I appreciate it.

Do you have any knowledge about how size 4 compares in sizing to the retail authentics? I am a thin guy and use size X-Small and Small of the retail authentics. Do you think size 4 of the player issue jersyeys equals size XS? Or do you think size XS of the retail authentics is smaller than any player issue jersey?
