Manchester United Kits 2017/18

It’s nice. Much nicer than the similar mock up someone did.

Hmm I don't really like it but it's not the worst kit we have had either. How often are these 'leaked' images usually an accurate picture of the kit?

If they managed to blend in the black at the bottom with the red then it could of had the potential to be a very neat kit.

It's alright like, not the worst I've seen but really amateurish design for a club like United.

Honestly think you could get art undergrads to design something better.

We are very late with our kits this year aren't we?

I thought we would have had it out by now

Are you slow? it's all done after Sanchez's Instagram, that was probably reported 3 months ago or so. We are supposed to release our home kits on July 1st

Not a huge fan it'll probably grow on me as the season goes on. However i'm not buying the new kits anymore, i've bought one of the 1999 shirts for £50 from classic football shirts and i'll wear that one until it breaks.

An authentic 1999 shirt is only £50?

Bought a new Chevy Camaro recently and the emblem is black/dark grey instead of gold. It would like 100x better on our shirts, even with the crappy fade to black design.

That's the first home kit that I don't like in about 5 years and the first from Adidas. Usually they leave their silly experiments for the third one. This year they seem to experiment with all 3 of them.

At least the last time I disliked the home kit (tbf it didn't look that bad on players) we won the title, so there's that.

I can see what they were trying to achieve but some of the design decisions are awful. I'm actually all for a red top with black shorts as it breaks up the tradition a little bit (so long as its just for this season).

I just think that the stripes really let this jersey down. If the gradient of the lines got darker and thicker more equally across the shirt rather than just in the bottom quarter this would be a much nicer kit. I also don't really see the reasoning behind having an out of place block of black on the bottom either. Adidas are usually so reliable but this is a dud.

Won't the shirt and shorts sort of merge into each other and make it look like the players are wearing some weird romper suit?

That's the plan. It could actually look quite cool in full kit, but will probably not really scream 'Manchester United'.

Mods, when are we making a new thread for the 18/19 kits and moving posts there?

Secondly, that looks minging sorry. And I was keen for buying one this year cause I skipped last year's, but looks like I'll be skipping again

Awful kit this year. Definitely goes into my top 5 all-time worst home kits, and its pairing with black shorts and predominantly red socks means it right near the top of it too.

Very disappointing too, given some of the great designs Adidas have produced for many of the national teams lately, as well as for the likes of Bayern Munich this year.

Only class kit adidas done since we signed with them was the first one. I was one who was screaming for a contract with Adidas while we had Nike and they have so far dissapointed me, everyone has different taste but I wouldn't spend five pounds on that.

Its good to know I wouldn't need to save up money to buy the home kit this year.
