Manchester United Kits 2017/18

Another pic of the home jersey

First home kit in a very long time I have zero interest in buying.

I have many tops, have bought for the last 2 seasons, missed the original Chevy logo top, but had many consecutive years before that.

I won't be spending anything on that top.

Be careful, theft is against the law.

What happens if we play a team who wears black shorts? Do we pair that kit with white shorts? Ewww.

Watford away for example, we can wear red but our shorts can't clash.

Do we wear our away kit more often?

The bottom bit looks almost knitted but it's just the design by the looks of it. If it was it would probably save it actually.

Not bad. Looks like an evil AS Monaco kit with the jersey/shorts color blend thing. I have a feeling it will look better on the players than it does by itself

What's the point of that bottom part and its colour (black) when we usually wear white shorts? It's going to look terrible.

But, yes, I know that usually it looks better on our players than in those pictures before the new season starts.

We're wearing black shorts at home this season.

Yeah, black shorts with black socks, fading to red. Will take time to get used to it.

Why would we be wearing our home kit playing Watford away?

Ah, okay, so it's nothing official, but could be true. Thanks!
It will absolutely be true.
The whole look will be the top blending into black, black shorts and then socks blending back into red.

I suppose that jersey will look less hideous when the bottom fades into black shorts.

The shirt is horrendous but the socks are the worst thing.

Red socks is a scousers thing.

This surely has to be a contender for the ugliest United home kit in the clubs history.

I think people can get a bit too emotionally involved in a kit design.

Not my favorite kit but its not that bad. Also, its not the first time we have had a black and red kit. The 2009/2010 home kit was red with a black v on it. Also had a black and red kit in fergies last season and the david moyes season. apologies for bringing up the moyes season as I am sure people including me want to forget it lol.

Ive never been more excited about a pink (feck you mate, its salmon) tshirt in my life after seeing that home kit. I will buy it on the cheap in a season or two though.
The next time the club renegotiate or switch kit designers they really need to emphasize the need for something cool and retro. People may not of liked the tea towel but it was pretty nice with a bit of a story to it. Plus it looked the business on Van Persie.
Give me something that justifies me spending $90 on it without the wife moaning that it looks shite.
When we went with Adidas i was expecting to be walking around like a young Mark Hughes, not being forced to be a full kit wanker just to make the jersey look wearable.
A little advice to people, if the jerseys look a bit muck just get a nice training top instead. Some if them have been subtly magnificent.

People whinging about Adidas’ United kits but the 15/16 home shirt was my favourite in years. This railway shtyle one and the last one aren’t great though.

I just wrote a letter to adidas headquarters saying Was ist das shit???
