Manchester United Kits 2014/15

I'm not saying that's not the real design, but that image looks shopped to me. The detail on the sleeves is different to that leaked pic and it seems a bit shoddy for an 'official' picture, or what will be an official picture.

I'm looking forward to getting a polo shirt made of polyester rather than the cotton nike ones.

I have seen a photo of a fan wearing a replica version at a match in the 70s, but never seen one for sale. The club museum have the only examples I've ever seen first hand, including the white away and blue third shirts in the same design. It's one of the rarest United shirts of the last 50 years.
Even in monochrome, that looks sensational. The jacket as well

The white shirt is nice but I can't help but feel either the collar or the stripes need to be black.

If we end up with that ridiculous red one with the white down the sides then it'll be awful.

That's beautiful and I'll be looking forward to the warm up track tops from Adidas, they are usually brilliant.

The jacket was only worn by Martin Buchan as he was sponsored by Adidas. The kits were by Umbro. Later on that day, Tommy Doc made all the other players wear Gola track tops as they were told they'd all get a tenner each for appearing in them. Buchan was the only player who refused.

Does anyone have this shirt?

74-75 (nov 13?) umbro kit. Can't find a picture anywhere.

Beautiful. Wish it was for sale somewhere.

You know mate it wouldn't be too hard to get a plain red polo very similar to that like this one:

Thats pretty much the same shirt, and then either see if a custom embroidery shop could do a United badge on it for you or i'm sure i have seen iron/sew on United badges for sale on Ebay or Amazon etc. Granted it might be hard to get a sew on badge similar to the smaller badge that was on the kits in the 70's but someone may have them for sale.

That would be nice if Lacoste was our kit provider, a simple shirt like that would be nice.

Lol @ the Moncler polo. Pretty sure that would be £100+. Would be lunacy to have any embroidery work on that, even more lunacy to want to wear that as its horrid :)

Recent white one is looking nice. Would rather have blue or black as a secondary colour but wouldn't moan if we got that.

Red one with white mesh is pretty nasty looking. Can't see Adidas going with something so unclassy, can you?

Yeah probably wouldn't want to spend £100 on it but still shouldn't be too hard to find a plain polo like that for a lot less. That was just the first picture i found on google that looked similar.

Let me get something else straight. Our 2013/2014 white kit was technically our third kit? And was that not our official away kit in 2012/2013?

Expensive taste i would say lol.

And you have every 18-25 year old in every UK city on a night out with the LADS each weekend.

Big target market for the shirt, lets get signed up.

Nothing like a kits thread to bring out the Gok Wan in people....

"Oooo I like the colour but don't like the trim on the collar"

Bloody hell!...You either buy it or not! Jesus Christ! Not as if you have to wear it!

I really don't understand how bad so many football kits are these days.
Surely it's not that hard to come up with something simple and decent that people will like.

I just spent 5 minutes on the miadidas online thingy and came up with something better than half the shirts we've seen in recent years.
Come on Adidas. Give us something good.

The black kit looks amazing

When was the last time we had a black kit; 2009-10 season? I miss our black away kits :( We've had some pretty poor attempts the last few seasons so I'm looking forward to seeing what Adidas come up with. I will buy a Shirt as long as it doesn't have a tacky collar.

The funniest part is that if they wear them anywhere other than at a match or playing 5-a-side people will look at them and go "who's that chav nob in a footy shirt" not realising how seriously they take this athletic haute couture

It's bizarre....I haven't bought a United Jersey in 5 years. And I only bought it because I liked it and it was one of those retro tops
I wear it to matches and wear it to the pub during a big game.....For the life of me I can't understand this "Oooo I like the stripes but they need to be black?!"

Are people actually gonna wear this jersey on a date or to a baptism?! It's insane!

You don't play for United and don't have to wear it so why do you care?!?! It's bizarre!
