Manchester United Kits 2014/15

I do miss black away kits to be honest. Might be a possibility as we'll need a new third kit (though they'll most likely just stick with blue).

yes, that's true. but at the same time, these are for teams' third kits and they're only for one year. my point is that as long as adidas insist on the the stripes on the shorts and shoulders, they're always going to look more or less the same.

The stripes are a prominent feature and won't likely be removed be removed any time soon for the reason, their shirts are instantly recognisable.

But at the same time no one can seriously say Nike or whoever are any more original. Nike bring out a raft of kits every year now for numerous teams which are pretty much identical save colour, badge and sponsor. So its not like we would be getting great original kits every year wth another manufacturer

That away kit is nice and if adidas will lay hommage to our kits from the last thats all right by me.
Peoole moan about the stripes. Its adidas, stripes are always there, dont expect them to be dropped nor I would want to see them being dropped.

we all wanted a change, now we have it but some arent happy already.

Check out these designs by a United fan @Pa_Ward1 on twitter

The logo and the white kit. We just need to ensure we don't end up looking a bit........

Like it a lot, but if we're going full retro why not have the Adidas Originals 'trefoil' logo?

It's a way better logo and would push the kit into 'cult status' category I reckon.

Because Adidas paid £750m to have that logo and those stripes on our kits.

Thats the logo they use on all football kits (I believe the trefoil is only used on leisure gear now?)

But why anyone thinks they would drop the current logo or especially the stripes is absolutely beyond me.

I've a feeling these two will be the kits, the collar and sleeve ends are similar, both nice jerseys too.

I hope not. My team chose to play in a black kit this season; any shadows and you cant see a damn thing. There's a reason the armed forces use black/grey/dark blue for urban camouflage.

The red kit doesn't need the silly white mesh, but at least it leaves them somewhere to go with the next one. The white is pretty perfect, so it's downhill from here.

I wish modern kits would cut out the sew on crest badge nonsense, but I suppose it makes it easier for the little Thai slave kids.

it is basically this kit, but white

Much prefer the black

Different Collar, Different Sleeves, Different Cuffs, Nothing on the neck line, Bigger Side panels and Different logo placement.

Other than that, yeh its just that kit in white.

The away top looks fine but would need white (or red) shorts to really look the part on the players. All that white and red trimmings will look weird white black shorts.

That is not very nice at all! Collar and sleeves look terrible and over all seems very underwhelming. I sense that is not the geniune article.

Just shows you can't please everyone. I think it's nice. It's a plain white shirt with a red collar. Not much not to like really. Also, as many have already said, it's almost identical to one of our older shirts which a lot have been crying out for.

I'd be very surprised if that white shirt wasn't genuine. Granted what we're looking at might be made in some backstreet factory so not up to scratch in terms of manufacturing quality though.

The shirts always look crap when they're crumpled and sprawled out on someone's bed. Shame they can't unveil them earlier.

Does anyone have this shirt?

74-75 (nov 13?) umbro kit. Can't find a picture anywhere.

I have seen a photo of a fan wearing a replica version at a match in the 70s, but never seen one for sale. The club museum have the only examples I've ever seen first hand, including the white away and blue third shirts in the same design. It's one of the rarest United shirts of the last 50 years.

Beautiful. Wish it was for sale somewhere.

Don't care what the Home Jersey looks like as long as its decent enough to be worn outside Old Trafford.

The Chevy bowtie looks tiny there, I expect it will be bigger on the real version.

Nice simple shirt, though, I like it.
