The improvement in our general play has been significant, and that's without any new signings apart from Malacia playing. Encouraging.

I dont know if it was defending structure or what but our main issued under Ole was defending and was up until he was sacked imo.
Dalot is doing well here yes but it is pre-season he'll need a very solid 6-10 game run in the PL to convince me he has what it takes to be a regular starter because i have my reservations on him defensively.
Being you, there is still the potential of his defending improving esp postioning.

FdJ can make those cross field pass just fine. He's not tunnel vision dribbler either. What not special is his the lack of creative pass on final third. He's touch greedy, but doesn't mean he wouldn't make progressive pass when it's available.
