Manchester United 3:1 Crystal Palace (Tue 19th July, 11:10 UK time)

Erm.. they are playing in Australia. We had the same discussion during the last match as well.
Yep but it is a tough concept to grasp. What I don’t get is how it why it seems to be nighttime there

Eriksen in that case then.
Sure. Frenkie advances play through his dribbling rather than his passing.
Some of your opinion is outright weird. Maguire similar type to Blind, then Martinez for example

FdJ can make those cross field pass just fine. He's not tunnel vision dribbler either. What not special is his the lack of creative pass on final third. He's touch greedy, but doesn't mean he wouldn't make progressive pass when it's available.
He can make them. He just won't 9/10, and, when he does, the weight of his pass is inconsistent. Between the lines passes he's fine, and the odd scoop ball, but long range passing has never been a big strength of his.

In fact, like Arthur, it's why they came under so much criticism at Barca. Too safe with their passing.

Maguire is the same style as them, too.

No white text, it is on you.
So because I didn't use white text in a post where I basically quoted Samid it wasn't clear that it was a joke? That's more on you than me. White text being required to make a joke, ffs

What do you lot think of Bruno this pre-season?

He's done ok, nothing brilliant, nothing terrible...just ok...would be nice to see him get a couple of goals soon

Yeah pretty much what you said mate, he’s looked more composed and controlled but obviously that’s come at the expense of his risk taking side that leads to the big assists/attempts…

Not my preference as well but certainly looks like it as how Maguire is our captain and Varane can't stay fit for more than a month.

Hopefully, we'll see a rotation system with Varane, Maguire, Martinez, Lindelof and Bailly.

Lovely goal. Clever from Donny to pass it and not try to smash it in himself.
