It was Ruud wasn't it? Sounds like Richards hit Ruud.

Too high a tackle I think. Didn't quite catch it.

That was after. Ole/Richards first, Ruud/Richards after that.

Richards is a pretty good defender, but I didn't know he was so aggressive. Sounds like we'll get him off later in the game.

You're right.

Richards must have stooped.

No Alan Green at OT on Radio 5 today ?

Elleray's doing the business for the Bindippers again - he's sent the WBA goalkeeper off.

Owen misses the pen ! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Now Liverpool have missed a penalty as well.

Oh ffs, why do goalkeepers always play this well against us.

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> @ Owen! Worse than Forlan! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

becuase our actions and shots are generally too "clean"

I think someone has put a protective spell around the visitors goal at OT.

Ole is "a crafty player" according to the commentator. I presume it was a compliment.

They didn't the other night. Good defending is the difference.

Sometimes it really does feel like that.

I can't tell from listening to it why we're struggling to score in this game, it doesn't sounds like they're sitting back and packing the defence. And this is their reserve defence.

We're not really creating anything. A lot of moves are cut early with mistakes while Giggs hasn't really taken anyone on so far.

0-0 - half-time and Mrs S has just come home, so it's also time for me too look busy. <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

See you later. ;)

Are you watching the game Amir?

ealier on commentators were saying that the spurs are just booting the ball out of the back to relieve the pressure...

Shut the feck up you tit. What the feck are we supposed to do, walk over them. We have the game under control just a matter of time.

no, i stick with united, coz i love em even they're on division 3

Phil has been solid today, our best player. Beckham at least has tried, as has the Midfield and Attack. It's been a case of huffing and puffing but as yet we're yet to really make any clear-cut chances. The need for a creative player who can take the game by the scruff of the neck like Cantona or Scholes is all the more blatant today. Atmosphere hasn't really done much for me. A few brave lads started a song or two but once again it seems like htere are prolonged periods of silence, an air or expectancy. Hopefully it was just the TV, but I could hear John Gorman shouting from the touchline quite clearly. ;)

Actually ,looking back on the replays, I didn't think Fabien got a touch. ;)

The cameras are panning around Old Trafford and it seems lifeless in there. Let's pick it up in the second half. I reckon Giggs needs a rest, don't know for who though. He just seems really low on confidence.
