It's going to be very tough for Mahrez if the deal is off. Apparently Leicester players are fuming with his attempts to force the move. I can't see any way back for him in that team.
what about now , too late ?HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
Cheeky bid for Mahrez in the summer?
he never pissed his team mates off beforeThey've recovered just fine every other window he's done this routine.
what about now , too late ?
in 2 and a half yearsWhen is Mahrez's contract up?
Can't see how City justify trying to pay £65m on Mahrez, when they've just paid £60m-odd for a non PL-proven defender.
??? how do you know that, reports say City have pulled out because of Leicester City's greed.Feel sorry for Mahrez, Leicester and their fans. All of this because of City’s greed.

Wanting the going rate for a top player is greedy???? how do you know that, reports say City have pulled out because of Leicester City's greed.

I could see where this is going. Mahrez hands in a transfer request, clubs rejects it as they cannot find a suitable replacement. Mahrez doesn't get his move and and refuses to play upcoming fixtures, derails Leicester season. This same fecking thing happened with Sanchez last summer
Said this yesterday...
Makes me lying in bed for 3 days with flu even better! How many diluded city fans had his name printed on their shirts! Oh dear!
Mahrez not going to Man City

Manchester City have walked away from a proposed deal for Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez after refusing to sanction a transfer package that would have cost £95m.
City do not view themselves as having made an offer after Leicester City came to them with a proposal that would have also included a player.
Yes, pathetic and disrespectful from City. Just like with Sanchez in the summer, they wait until deadline day to put in a proper bid, leaving the selling club no time to find a replacement.Feel sorry for Mahrez, Leicester and their fans. All of this because of City’s greed.
true... though to suggest (as was suggested) that he has not played at all and that city would give him up to get Mahrez (when lets be honest they need Marhez to add wide attacking options so selling one when Sane and Jesus are injured and stirling is playing the odd game up front just seems like a non starter)@sun_tzu would it be fair to say Bernardo Silva hasn't played as much as you'd expect a £50m signing to play?
To say he has played the same amount of minutes as 2 players who've spent spells out injured isn't exactly a great support of his case.
Any other club would be ridiculed for paying that much for a player who has only really been a squad option thus far. However, it was similar with Sane last year too, or at least early last year. And they're reaping the benefits of that this yeat .
A fantastic luxury that you can ease £50m footballers into your team because your first team is doing a great job already.
Just as I think the BBC can't embarrass themselves any further...
My conservative estimate would be roughly zero. None of the fans I know were particularly enthused about the prospect of signing him.
Well said yet predictable from the little blue plastics. What a crap little club. They claim the moral high ground yet undertake actions like this, all as one of their players got an injury. Pep is shitting himself and the thought of having to play youth.
We always make sure our facsimile machines are well maintained...Yes, pathetic and disrespectful from City. Just like with Sanchez in the summer, they wait until deadline day to put in a proper bid, leaving the selling club no time to find a replacement.
At least we do things in the right and honourable way when it comes to transfers.
Why? Arsenal have just signed PEA for 55million, and Leicester were willing to let Mahrez go for 40 in the past summer, really unfair on the lad.Yeah anything below £85-90m in this market isn't enough.
