Yes Van Gaal wasted him. It's pretty shocking, he could hardly have known him better. Like a cup of coffee can be nuked in the microwave to make it drinkable again, Memphis will salvage his career and prove a good player somewhere - hopefully with us under Mourinho (tho I don't expect that to happen). But Van Gaal has not used him well at all, and he has no excuse. Makes a mockery of the idea of him being a DoF for me. Memphis was never going to thrive the way we play.

Unbelievable how we are unable to score yet again.

This palace team is absolutely dire. Yet we are playing right to their level.

Also, out of all our summer signings only Martial is playing. So basically he has managed to alienate/coach out of form the likes of Schneiderlin etc. who were terrific in other teams last season.

I swear the minute he is gone and we get a proper manager im sure these players will start playing to their full potential.

We might as well sack him when we kick off the second half. Managers can't affect the game once the ball is kicked, remember?

fecking hell he's a stubborn dinosaur. If we lose because of him I'll probably lose the plot.
Imagine all the e-suicides.

Story of united under him... Possession without threatening.

Edit: I'm claiming an assist on that! :D

We are getting everything we deserve. He should've been sacked long, long ago over the winter run. Now we are reaping what he has sown.

I really want us to win this for him, he's been an amazing manager throughout his career and it's just not worked here, finishing off with a trophy would be nice for him.

Once again, Young clearly has no idea what to do as a lone striker while we have a natural striker in Young's natural possession.

LVG is so eager to be the genius that he makes these inexplicable decisions all the time. But when they only work out one time out of 10, it's not genius, just luck.

That sub must be one of the most stupid subs ever. Defensive as it gets. Play another half an hour without sub left and 35 year old Carrick stays on for 120 minutes, while one of our best players and one of few who can score is subbed off. Baffling.

This isn't even the most important game of the month. West Ham was, he lost it.

Absolutely deluded to put Young upfront. I dont care if Young scores a hattrick in the extra time. It makes no sense and clearly he isnt suited for the role.

All this after Young had a pretty decent season at left wing last year. You'd think we should put Martial in a central position so he can get more chances on goal.

Theres 2 strikers on the pitch. Yet it's Ashley Young upfront.

Young as striker in our most important game of the season. Deluded.

Utter madness. As soon as we stopped playing to control we scored too. Shows the philosophy is garbage.

feck that. I want us to win and feck the cnut off before the presentation. He deserves feck all.
