Is it because we have so many poor players now that everyone ends up playing out of position?
Tonight we had at least 5 players playing out of their natural positions and you wouldn't mind if it was a one off game due to terrible luck with injuries but we have nearly the entire squad fit and ready to play right now. It's been like this ALL SEASON.

I don't see how he keeps his job, because he just about met requirements last season...he's failed this season regardless of whether or not we win the cup. Whatever way you look at it, 3rd, 4th and especially 5th are all absolute failures in the context of what's happened. Arsenal, City and Chelsea all bottled it, but so did we.

I'm in the evaluate at the end of the season camp. Not been very vocal on my opinions but I appreciate what he's been trying to do with the team, I think he does have a plan for the development of our team/ style of play but it's not worked.
The mentality he has instilled in these players is all wrong, when we're loosing or against bigger teams there seems to be much more freedom and players take more risks which generally puts us on the front foot but like when we went ahead today we started playing safe and inviting pressure again.
He's so risk averse unless he's got no other option, but chances to score generally cone from taking a risk that they're going to loose the ball.
Anyway after that complete bottle job where we did really well to get the lead it's time to say goodbye.
They should announce it, give him the last game and cup final as a little bit of respect for a great career then part ways hopefully with the cup.

While he is manager (if at all and I absolutely hope we choose someone else to replace Van Gaal) I won't be calling for Manchester United to lose until he gets sacked, that is for sure.

Moyes sacked for not reaching CL, surely same criteria should apply to LVG? More so considering he has had extra time and spent shed loads of money.

van Gaal earned his 3rd season today. Excellent performance despite the result. That throw in we won in the 54th minute was devine.
Van gaal had two seasons to make us better and has failed.

He was a great manager. Like Trapattoni ,his methods aren't suited to the modern footballer and he should be moved on.
