Funny thing is, when watching the match I thought that Mata was struggling a bit with Rose's pace so it would be wise to switch Lingard with Mata as the former is better winger and Mata is better #10. Of course that didn't happen but in the second half, I was incredibly happy that he's put Young on until I noticed that he plays as a fecking false #9 and Mata is still on the fecking wing.

How duuuuuuuumb you have to be to do shit like this?

This moronic bell end gone yet. He makes me ill just thinking about him being here next year.

Ashley Young up front just sums him up. That wasn't a decision he had to make today but one he chose. That's the problem when you think you're a genius and have seemingly no real accountability.

Moyes was a hopeless case and utterly clueless, but at least with him, you could see a semblance of a plan and you had an idea what he was trying.

With Van Gaal on the other hand, it's just one baffling decision after the other. One thing is weird team selections and tactics, but when you play half the team out of their natural positions, you have to wonder if he has actually become mental. For the last six months or so, we have barely managed to create one or two chances each game, which is a huge fecking problem, considering the objective of football is putting the ball in the net

Yet, he keeps on trying the same old shite. Two DM's, no overlapping fullbacks, three youngsters in attack, dumbass set piece tactics and a very conservative attacking tactic. Newsflash: It's not working you bellend. I'll give him credit for clearing out some of the deadwood and giving time to our younger players, but overall his tenure here has been catastrophic

You do have to wonder if he's constantly goading United into sacking him, Defensive subs when we're losing, Fellaini playing over Schneiderlin, Powell coming on the save us in the CL, today Young playing as the striker, to name but a few, these aren't rational decisions yet he keeps making them, he probably can't believe he's still in a job himself.

39 league goals this season. This man shaped the team. We've had feck all injuries up front bar Rooney recently and he was shite anyway. Hes a fecking joke.

Surely we'll struggle for 50 goals this season. We had 62 after 38 last year.

4 goals a game until season ends to beat that already shite statistic.

We are a truly woeful side under his leadership.

Don't know about anyone else but, I'm getting really sick of hearing about "top 4"

We're Manchester United! Not winning the league should be seen as a failure. Not failing to finish 4th

He sounds completely defeated

'Still in the race [for fourth spot]'

For fourth best team in the league. We're hoping to be fourth best! You fecking cretinous twat. You have had two years to make an impact here and we're still getting performances like that. 39 goals in 32 games.

If City beat Chelsea it's over, but if Chelsea get three points, the pressure will ramp up on them.

I also think Newcastle will raise their game in the hope of survival.

It's scrabbling around for damage limitation, and still failing!

pilib de brun is always entertaining to read his rants post bad games.

Apparently Yorke was due on his radio show after the game, but United pulled him out!

The sad part is no matter how refreshing it is to see a front line of Martial, Rashford, Lingard it is too early for them. The blame lies on LVG, why the feck did he let Nani, Rvp, Chicharito, Kagawa go, or not replace them with proper impact players who were ready to come in and do the job. In an ideal world i don't think Lingard is Utd quality, he is squad player at best, while Martial i believe should have been used sparingly and be used as an impact sub, rather than our only player capable of doing something, and lastly Rashford is far too raw, we shouldn't be expecting him to lead the line.

Its no wonder we score so few goals our attack not only on papers looks so weak, in reality it is not top 4 quality right now. Spurs for example had Kane, Eriksen, Lamela and Alli as front four compare that to our attack. Martial is the only player from our front 4 that will give them a reason to be worried, and even he blows hot and cold which is expected from a young player. Young players obviously not only miss alot of chances due to lack of clinical edge or rush their chances, similarly their final pass, running in to trouble, poor selection of pass etc are very common mistakes they do. The sensible thing would have been to have three established players in front 4 and slowly bed in Martial and give minutes to youngsters to keep the first team players on their toes.

And lastly our Full backs are shit the likes of Darmian, Rojo can't cross the ball, they can't even pass the ball properly. Its important for full backs and wingers to combine and create chances its soo far away from the likes of Evra and Rafael its unbelievable.

Yorkie :D

Hard to take him seriously these days. "Give Giggs the United job and give me the Villa job. We get the clubs"

Agree. I'm past the point of caring about qualifying for a competition we've got no chance of winning. A change in manager would feel as good as any top 4 or trophy win.

With our current level, 4th or 6th is the same, we are not guaranteed to qualify for the CL group stage and we are guaranteed to not qualify for the CL ko stage.

I wish he'd just go. The joke has worn very very thin.

He's sucked any enjoyment out of the team, club and season. He has no ambition and to hear him prattling on about still being in the hunt for 4th makes me despair.

Ed and the board should follow too for allowing this circus to continue beyond last December.

Even Curly Wurly doesn't come here to defend him any more.

What about Santiago. He is absolutely convinced that this guy is the man for the job.
Has he finally been outed as a MCFC fan?

I thought this thread would be hot as Beyonce's ass

When is enough enough? It's beyond stupid he's still picking up a wage
