feck him. Genuinely ruined any enjoyment I have watching United any more.

was quite a game, on a knife edge though, and one goal against was always killing it.

give it 20 and then start easing players out for Sunday really.

Frustrating when when we are dominating we still just can't roll the ball into the goal. Probably what happens when you trust inexperience, even when you play well and the big moments come they might bottle it

Not from this game in particular, but today I truly realised that I don't enjoy watching my football team play any more. It's becoming a chore. Even if Giggs were to come in, at least we'd be somewhat watchable (I'd hope).

Our best 2 chances were probably bottled by Mata first and then Rojo.

There's no gameplan at all. I know some will suggest we played well in that half but that would suggest Liverpool are a good side (they are not).

Poor passing, no consistent close link-up play in attack (players get isolated) and all round composure of Championship level players. That's on Van Gaal, it's clearly something to do with training when the whole team can't do basic things correctly.

Can't really blame him for this half, we played very well but players like Varela, Rojo, Lingard and Mata let him down.

Lingard was decent. Varela showing very much so why you can't trust 100% in this crop of kids.

Rashford is showing the level he is too. ie promising, but much too early to be playing so many games back to back

He claims and many do he was one of the guys behind Barcelona's dynasty in terms of the way they play and the youth coming through, and then he keeps picking fellaini, hmmmm. The so called mastermind behind Bayerns rise to dominance, and then he keeps picking fellaini, hmmm. Tell me, what is he trying to create long term at united? when I see fellaini in a midfield 2

I'd like to see kinderbonkers explain that !

Despite the huff and puff, its quite obvious how badly coached these players are, they just don't do things they're supposed to do.
The lack of tracking runners and inability to be composed in certain situations, it's really bad. The terrible link up play between anyone that isn't Martial, it's really really bad.

I see people in here the match thread calling our players dumb, but most footballers are dumb but they can be coached certain things, unfortunately they aren't being coached properly and this is the end result.

You see LVG sitting there constantly taking notes, you'd think in doing that he's picking things up that'll he try and coach in/out of the players but no nothing.

He's such a bad manager and bad coach and it's evident every time we go onto the pitch, even on days like today where we're at least not completely sucking the enjoyment out of football.

Lingard did ok but he should have scored that header.

I completely agree with you on Rashford, the boy is doing everything you could expect from an 18 year old.

We really do need this season to run out as painlessly as possible now.

Man City, Tottenham, West Ham x2 away.

Certainly not looking forward tho those.

Still, just 11 games to go after today most likely.

They really should just put a care-taker manager in place. Anything to suggest change is coming for next season.

He's brought on Valencia at right back, instead of Darmian. Darmian who's an international right back for Italy, Valencia who's been injured and isn't even a right back. Just sack this complete loser!

Knocked OUT of the Champions League.
Knocked OUT of the League Cup.
Knocked OUT of the Europa League.
Knocked OUT of the top four by Leicester.
About to be knocked OUT of the FA Cup.

Yet, this clown appears to have assurances that he's safe. Woodward is a coward and an incompetent twat.

Jose bloody Mourinho, the one on pace to win more tropies than Fergie, is out there available. Has there been a bigger no brainer in football history? Get him, give him free reign to build his juggernaut, which isnt going to be hard: he bought Di Maria and Ozil at Madrid. They weren't Galacticos. They were quality. He can build his team swiftly. Look at his Chelsea team from last year. He wins leagues like they are giveaways at a cheap concert. He's the perfect modern manager. And we are sitting on our hands!

Bit of a no win situation. Darmian's been fairly rubbish himself, irrespective of his international credentials. Unless you're taking the piss about the commentator on BT saying the exact same thing.

I see Van Gaal's thrown Varela under the bus with that sub. Never Van Gaal's fault, eh?

Winning the Europa league was the only thing that would have saved him. He has to go now.

Even if we do somehow score enough to beat Liverpool (we 100% won't), we are never beating Dortmund either.

Jesus the way we're playing tonight you'd think the players think there's a third leg.

It's pathetic but none of our players are willing to take a shot

Yep, we look incredibly limp. We should be looking to test them at every opportunity. Press and attack if we can. Mignolet's suspect, and the Liverpool defence are far from brilliant. We're doing nothing to make it difficult for them though.

This is genuinely embarrassing how poorly trained the side is when it comes to attacking with purpose. They don't have a clue what to do once they reach the penalty area.

Please sack him before sunday

Patience my dear friend.

Earliest we'd sack him is when top 4 is impossible. With City and Arsenal pissing about we're probably looking at mid April.
Might as well just let him run for the rest of the season now.

Just really hope the Mourinho talk is as certain as it seems
