It's reached the point where he's doing us more damage by staying on. If Mourinho or Giggs don't want to come in, just put someone like Warren Joyce as caretaker. Any sort of change is needed.

Didn't splash cash in January, not sacking van Gaal. Our board is full of shit if he doesn't walk now.

Sack him and give Giggs the job until the end of the season, if Giggs do not want it, then give it to Warren. Mourinho can rather wait until summer so he can plan what he wants to change.

I want this motherfecker gone immediately. A statement should be made as soon as he had been informed....... anything less than that and Woodward should be sacked.

That actually infuriates me
Does it really matter now whether he's in the job or not? If Giggs takes over, he isn't getting top 4, and it will only cause a clamour for him to take over. If Woodward wants Mourinho this summer, it is best for LVG to stay and see out the season. Ideally we should have replaced him earlier when we had a shot, but now it's probably not even relevant who manages us this season.

I think the opening post of this thread should contain a list of our results this season, just so that whenever we happen to pick up a point, we will not forget how bad he has actually been.

It's a joke that whenever we have a half decent game all pressure on him seems to be relieved only to be served up with this shit again and back to square one.

Games like today are why people won't give Van Gaal credit when we win or play well. He's shown he's incapable of instilling any consistency of performance and results in his tenure. Even his best spell was followed by three defeats in a row. His foundations? They're built on sand.

Arsenal next in the league. Jesus.

I pray for a 4-0 walloping so that LVG's reign becomes untenable. All these single goal losses ain't doing it.

9 wins out of 26 games in all competitions. Appalling statistic and a damning indictment of Ed Woodward.

It's funny how many people live in this magical world where they think sacking a manager will solve everything.

Not everything. But it'll be a step in the right direction wouldn't it.

I would say this is surely it now, but he'll be here next fecking week. If the clowns at the top got rid of him after Norwich at the latest there was still something to play for. Another season fecked by utter feckwits running the club.

Critically we're making the same mistake as we did with Moyes sticking it out until fourth is impossible, what competition next will we ruin? Pissing the season away for no reason.

A better manager is available right now, hungry for success and hungry for United. It is simply a no brainer.

And what.. give the job to Giggs? And then face a full of clamour for him being made permanent? Great situation to hire Mourinho in.

We can't wait any longer. We're going in cycles of being piss poor and average.
For me he and Woodward have just grossly overestimated the quality of our squad. Not sure a new manager can turn it around until the summer transfer window but it surely can't get any worse.

Martial was terrorizing their defense on the left flank. Why would you ever shift to the right where he was ineffective? And to make it even worse he hasn't noticed it wasn't working/going to work.

This fraud needs sacking asap.

Funnily enough we'll probably beat this sack of shit and this idiot will be able to talk even more shit than he already does.

You only have to look at what SAF accomplished with some of his sides over the years to realize how important the manager is in the bigger equation. Will it solve everything right away? Maybe, maybe not. The more important question is...do you think LVG will improve us any more than how we are playing right now? The answer for me is a resounding No. So, we have to move on. The damage is done. We need to begin the rebuilding process yet again and that starts with a new manager with new ideas. I for one would love any manager who got up and showed a little passion on the touchline to try and get more out of the players on the pitch.
