I see the 'Who still has faith in the philosophy / LVG Suppoters Thread' is not very active, a goal off Fellaini's arse and a 1-0 win should see it spiking again later.

You have a team who don't let goals in easily. Get a manager who can add goals & we are good.

Funny enough buddy?

Not exactly, since it doesn't discount the likelihood that adding a manager who adds goals wouldn't adjust our tactics that are currently not conceding goals. The broader point with LvG is he has shown zero aptitude for improving us relative to the amount of money he's spent. That's a massive warning sign that he is not good enough and should be sacked immediately.

Santiagokinderbueno will be laughing at us when he wins CL next year with AC Milan.

If we attack we will concede goals, that is why he is playing like this, the defence is actually pretty poor, as it seems is the attack.

The new manager will need to come in and sort out them both.

PLEASE can we fire him now. We're a laughing stock, we'll miss out on the CL, and nobody is going to want to play in a side this tumescent so it's going to be a huge struggle to bring in players.

There has to be more to football than this.

If the people running the club don't give a f*ck about our opinion anymore then surely the sponsors have to start putting pressure on.

He needs to be ran out of town immediately.

Just hurry up and get Mourinho in for feck's sake. I genuinely believe we'll regret it so much if we don't.

He has to go. 20 mins left here v Southampton, and it doesn't matter if we win or not from here. This is genuinely terrible, one of the worst performances I've ever seen from a United team at home. So negative, so defensive, just shite.

Negative shite.

The sooner the better.

If he's not sacked after this shite, then the board needs to sack itself. fecking ridiculous. Worst game ever. Haven't done a fecking thing, not made a single chance.

Don't want him at all, Giggs until the end of the season, then Poch or Simeone for me.
I respect your opinion but disagree. Mou is a winner, at at this point, that's all I'm personally about. I don't mind LvG playing tumescent football if we're winning at all, but the results (bar the last couple) speak for themselves.

Saying that, I'd take Pochettino in a heartbeat.

How on earth have we not sacked him yet?!
And the audacity of fans/United-people to talk about 'the United way' being vital - it's this is it?!

The question is incredibly simple: will LVG be our manager next season? If the answer is yes, we're doomed but I can understand the board's actions right now. If no, then there is simply no reason to keep LVG.

There is simply nothing to lose. That mouse that just ran onto the pitch would probably be more inspiring than LVG at the moment.

He obviously won't be sacked. Every time it looks close he pulls something out. Whether it's just hitting the post against Chelsea, or scoring more than 1 goal in a game against Newscaste.

He went back to 3-5-2 after we had a good 10 minute spell with 4 at the back. Blame the injury fine but he could have left McNair at right back or put on a full back. But no, this guy thinks he's some fecking genius and is stubborn as feck.

He needs to go

I'm mentally fed up of watching us. Not sure if anything is going to change either as the club seems to be run by incompetent morons that are allowing this to continue.

And then he'll turn off his PlayStation and cry himself to sleep, quietly muttering "those RedCafe wankers..."

Oh god. Talking about playstations & im the kid. Never said van gaal would win the CL with milan. Haha so funny. Must have all been struggling at school. Misinterpretation/misunderstood all the same thing.

I just don't see Mourhino ending any other way than badly, there could be some short term gain but he'll leave the place badly, it's just the wrong fit for me.

Pochettino would be great, or could be anyway.

At least the world should know who to contact if an animal bites.
No need to put them down, just let them be coached by LvG and they'll have no bite left.

It's staggering that a 0-0 draw at home to a dogshit Chelsea side who are battling relegation was enough to save his job. Coming after 4 defeats in a row and us being knocked out of the CL in the group stage.

The standards at Utd have been lowered so quickly, it's very depressing.

Last week was terrible but we got lucky. This week is terrible. Another 10 minutes for LVG to luck his way out of sacky time.

I did not believe it was possible that any manager out their we could hire would be worse than Moyes. To my disbelief Louis Van Gaal is doing a great job meeting that goal. The fact is that despite Moyes being a terrible manager, the hand he was dealt with was much more daunting than the hand Van Gaal had.

If we'd have lost against Liverpool he may have gone due to the severe reaction that would have ensued. But we won with a dogshit performance against a poor Liverpool side.
