Do you trust LvG or Giggs who's a novice as the manager? My point is if we sack van Gaal then at least bring in someone who is a better manager (Mourinho) not a total unknown. Hiring Giggs to take over now is not a risk I'm willing to take. I don't care how happy the players would be, we need a proven manager who can get results while this season is still salvageable.

He'll maintain the defensive organisation (the stuff Henry talked about in the midfield and defensive thirds) but add a bit of freedom in the final third. He'd also build for the future.
Mourinho'd leave us with another huge rebuilding project in 3 years time, just like he did at Inter. Short term gratification isn't always the way to go. We need to build on what's already here and ensure that we're not undermining our own long term stability. Giggs is the best option.

What we need to do is make sure we don't fall out of the top 4, you don't do that by hiring a clueless, charisma free inexperienced snake who has lurked over the last two managers reigns. He needs the boot along with LvG and we need someone that knows about managing at the top, not someone who knows nothing about actually being in charge.

Giggs could turn out to be the next Pep but he could equally fail at the job. My point is hiring Giggs who's a complete unknown at this juncture in the season is big risk. A risk we cannot afford.
