is there anything from anyone even vaguely reliable out there?

Not Sinclair being trolled, not twats like Fjortoft who are never right about anything?

We've tried someone who's proven in midtable. We've tried someone who's proven in Europe. Now it's time to try someone who's United through and through.

Or someone thats a proven PL winner?

If we sack LvG to appoint Giggs then sacking LvG is pointless.
Bullshit. There would be much better Football and the players would be happy. We may still be in a top 4 battle rather than looking further ahead but VG right now is a dead man walking, the players have stopped.

I wish twitter never existed.

Sad idiots making rumours of someone losing a job, I'd love it if he somehow turns it around from this point.
And this is coming from someone who can't stand Lvg.

I cant see Jose not wanting to take the Chelsea match. His ego will demand it.

yeah agreed.

He'd relish the chance to beat them straight away.
It'd be perfect for him to come in now, as he went to Chelsea looking "loyal", then only left as they turfed him out

To come back and get the job he really wanted.

ps it'll be Giggs though

So now they are saying he will be sacked tonight? And Giggs to take over? I assumed the reason they took so long to sack him was so they could lock José down. Giggs would be a horrible long term solution qt this point of his career.

141 pages of nothing. It's like reading a fecking Twilight novel.

Do you trust LvG or Giggs who's a novice as the manager? My point is if we sack van Gaal then at least bring in someone who is a better manager (Mourinho) not a total unknown. Hiring Giggs to take over now is not a risk I'm willing to take. I don't care how happy the players would be, we need a proven manager who can get results while this season is still salvageable.

United youth team drawing 0-0 with QPR. LvG's philosophy is contagious.

Or we get the PL proven winner that is available.
A proven PL failure on his most recent showing. Giggs know van Gaal's methods inside and out after all this time. He'll maintain the defensive organisation (the stuff Henry talked about in the midfield and defensive thirds) but add a bit of freedom in the final third. He'd also build for the future.

Mourinho'd leave us with another huge rebuilding project in 3 years time, just like he did at Inter. Short term gratification isn't always the way to go. We need to build on what's already here and ensure that we're not undermining our own long term stability. Giggs is the best option.

I wonder if Barca fans said the same when Pep was appointed manager? How wrong they were proved.

What we need to do is make sure we don't fall out of the top 4, you don't do that by hiring a clueless, charisma free inexperienced snake who has lurked over the last two managers reigns. He needs the boot along with LvG and we need someone that knows about managing at the top, not someone who knows nothing about actually being in charge.

I wonder if a lot of Barca fans said the same when Pep was appointed manager? How wrong they were proved.
Giggs could turn out to be the next Pep but he could equally fail at the job. My point is hiring Giggs who's a complete unknown at this juncture in the season is big risk. A risk we cannot afford.

Pep's far more handsome

If LVg does go, I am honestly thinking why not give it to Giggs until the summer?

Because we can't afford to fall out of the top 4 again, and while I'm not a fan of Jose it would be suicide to ignore a proven PL winner and top manager for a nobody.
