That's your opinion, not mine.
Indeed
That's your opinion, not mine.
Apparently Inter s owner is not delivering what he promised to Conte before signing.Don't need to, Conte's been around for near a decade by now, he's not an unknown. He's Mourinho with 50% less funny and charismatic and 50% more insane
Unless you think Lukaku will miraculously turn into a high-energy, high-activity player all of a sudden...?
No idea. Story going around in Italy yesterday was inter's owner said no fecking way to €85m for lukaku
But still played ahead of Greenwood!
Its not good money, the same as what Atletico paid for Morata including the loan fee.
Its not good money. Lukaku is still a very good striker just not one that suits Oles style. Had a very good world cup too.
75m euros is a fair valuation and they haven't got near it.
I'll tell you that again and again, Pogba ain't going nowhere, no matter the offer. It's way too late for such a big transfer like this.Another transfer that will go to the wire and leave us that we can't bring in any replacement.
We are playing a dangerous game with Lukaku and Pogba transfers. And please don't try to tell me that Pogba is going nowhere. If the right offer comes in he's off.
Their transfer window does not close until Sept. 2nd so we should either put a deadline on the final date he stays or goes and stick to it. There is something really worries me that we have not brought any other players in yet.
Are we waiting to sell first.??
Was this 100 million really all we had for rebuild.??

Some people man... If we do sell so late into the transfer window, it would just make us seem even weaker than before.I'll tell you that again and again, Pogba ain't going nowhere, no matter the offer. It's way too late for such a big transfer like this.
This late ? It won't and your opinion is wrong. Which stars can Madrid sell to even close to a Pogba type of fee ?If Real raise the money by selling some of their stars, It will happen. We all have our opinion, mate. This is mine.
We will see. This late ? It won't and your opinion is wrong. Which stars can Madrid sell to even close to a Pogba type of fee ?
He gets to do that in the PL because teams still defend 1vs1 for the most part over there. In Italy that's rare. He'd be contending with two or three players on him most of the time. As much as the PL is faster, that mostly applies to midfielders. For strikers, no league is as fast as Serie A still. Though admittedly that helps Lukaku in regards to stamina.
If Pogba was to be sold then it would have been dealt with or at least the rumors would have been much stronger. The window closes in a little more than 2 weeks. Clubs would fleece us even more if we're to look for a replacementSome people man... If we do sell so late into the transfer window, it would just make us seem even weaker than before.
As long as he doesn't leave the ball behind himStrikers in Italy get plenty of opportunity to run at defenders. That's Lukaku's bread and butter.
Pogba seems to be engaging a lot more into representing the club in different social media and public interactions and seem perfectly fine with staying so far. Ole talked about it, Mata as well, he isn't going anywhere. If Pogba was to be sold then it would have been dealt with or at least the rumors would have been much stronger. What on Earth gives you that idea? Greenwood certaintly isint going to start 30-50 this year, but OGS has given every indication that he’s a big part of the squad, but as a young player will need to be managed. If Lukuku stays (and 90% of fans don’t want that to happen), it looks like Greenwood (when available), Rashford and Martial are definitely ahead of Lukuku.
He’s not though is he? Certaintly not for a decent side. This idea that it’s OGS’ style that’s the problem is total BS - Lukuku was garbage under Jose as well - who have him his total backing. In a season and a half under Jose, Lukuku was anything but a good striker. He’s an average flat track bully.
Shame no one else thinks he’s a good striker, otherwise there would be more than just a single club that wants him - thank god for Inter. We won’t even be able to flog him to West Ham now.
At smaller clubs. Not at inter. Inter face more parked buses than UnitedStrikers in Italy get plenty of opportunity to run at defenders. That's Lukaku's bread and butter.
Those things do paint a picture of him staying for at least one season. I'm sure the club will try to get him to sign another (mega contract) in the meantime.Pogba seems to be engaging a lot more into representing the club in different social media and public interactions and seem perfectly fine with staying so far. I wouldn't have minded to see him sold but it needed to happen much earlier in the window.
We are a much bigger club than Spurs or Leicester, and Pogba is a much more important player than Eriksen or Maguire. So it's too late for spurs to sell Eriksen. It's too late for Leicester to sell Maguire. Deals will go down to the last day and clubs should be prepared for this with replacements lined up. How do you know that we haven't. Please respect other opinions and don't be trying to convince them that you are right all the time.
I would never come out and say another persons opinion is wrong, it's very disrespectful. I would agree to disagree.
I'm sorry but a Pogba deal (and United finding adequate replacement(s)) represents a much bigger process than anything involving Eriksen and Maguire. I respect your opinion, I think it's wrong though. I'm allowed to say that. Besides if you read how Ole values him, what Mata said about him recently, it doesn't strike as a player fighting for a move and besides the club doesn't wanna let him go this summer. So it's too late for spurs to sell Eriksen. We may be a bigger club. Spurs finished ahead of us last year and got to the Champions League final. Eriksen was one of their best performers and has been over the past 3 years. We are a much bigger club than Spurs or Leicester, and Pogba is a much more important player than Eriksen or Maguire.
There is no "maybe" here. It's not just United too, it's Pogba , a player of higher profile and possibly Real Madrid. A deal like that is hugeWe may be a bigger club. Maguire has been Leicester City's player of the year for last couple of seasons. So don't give that excuse.
We will agree to disagree. Like you said, time will tell.We will agree to disagree. Player power could be the winner in the end.
Will be difficult for the club to justify not playing (at least from the bench) a £50m (more of you believe Ed) player on big wages. Much easier to justify it with a 17 year old. What on Earth gives you that idea? We may well have Bruno lined up as a Pogba replacement if he goesSo it's too late for spurs to sell Eriksen. It's too late for Leicester to sell Maguire. HLN reporting that lukaku has the wrong attitude at the moment.
He is barely training and has isolated himself from the group.
Since he is not motivated anymore, he is barely trying and not ready for the start of the season.
Question is being asked: Inter can't afford Lukaku so what will Lukaku do next?
Sounds like a healthy situation
Bruno doesn't seem to be the same type of player as Herrera, he's much more an attacking midfielder (like Pogba for us). Longstaff or Lemina seem the more likely Herrera replacements out of the ones linked, with SMS or Bruno lined up in the event that Pogba gets his wishes.Milinkovic-Savic and Yedder all lined up according to certain reports. So Pogba and Lukaku could well leave for the right offers. Bruno is supposed to have been our Herrera replacement, but that may well now be McTommy. Who knows, transfer speculation is a crazy world of false news and click bait.
How highly thought of is their striker, Martinez? Could he be a makeweight in a potential deal?
I just can’t see how Rom fits into our new style of play at all.
If Real raise the money by selling some of their stars, It will happen. We all have our opinion, mate. This is mine.
Completely different than Lukaku, but compared to the modern game Martinez is better suited (and the better footballer). Finisher, fairly decent at most elements of the game. Not comparable, but his finishing reminds me of Aguero's. I've been wondering why we have not asked for him as part of a deal, with a lot less money going our way. Would even take a straight swap if that what it takes to get Lukaku out of the club since we are not going to get much for Lukaku next summer.

Of all the players a manager with access to a decent transfer purse could want, why Lukaku ?
Isint he their only other striker - assuming Icardi has no future. They need additions in that area, so can’t see them entertaining a swap.
Yeah, he looked pretty decent for a not so decent Argentina. Mobile, much better technically than Rom and of course, very young. If Conte wants to acquire Dzeko and Lukaku, maybe he's not going to feature that prominently for them.
I just hope we somehow get this deal through. Ideally, we'd accept the latest offer on the condition they take Sanchez on a free.
I agree with the part in bold. I would do anything just to get Sanchez out of the club, as I don't have much faith in him after the paltry 1 league goal he scored all last season.Yeah, he looked pretty decent for a not so decent Argentina.
